Pay it forward. - ChrisRawlinson, on 02/19/2008, -0/+4Is a fab cause to help pay back debts left unpaid by the UK distributor who sadly went under, not to help fund the Vineyard. This is about saving many many peoples livelihoods who stand to lose everything for something that was nothing to do with them or Stormhoek. Pity, but we have competing digg stories... dupes. - JBagley, on 02/20/2008, -0/+1Markus, do a little reading about the situation. It has almost nothing to do with the winery, but to do with saving people's job. Farmworkers struggle these days to find jobs and they normally have large families to support off their pay.
People also go on about finding a better cause to donate to or this cause is more worthy than another - every little bit helps, no matter what the cause! - inactive, on 02/19/2008, -2/+3Subsidize a winery?...In South Africa?....i don't think so......i don't think that i would have too hard of a time finding a more worthwhile cause to donate $270 to in S.A....i could go on and on, but i wont.....sorry no digg...

This is no donation, your contribution will be paid back with interest. It's simply a way to help out a small winery in SA right the wrongs of a conglomerate in the UK.
