- johndi, on 05/19/2008, -0/+1Dubai has known for sometime that it's cash cow was running out of milk. That's why the city transformed itself. I'm surprised they overlooked this detail. Look further into Iran's desire for nuclear power and you will find that it is for a similar reason. As early as 2014 Iran could become an energy importer. Not because of their resources running dry, but because we have isolated them to the point that they can't develop their resources. Even Fox News as nearly admits that Iran has legitimate need for nuclear power plants. The point of denying Iran nuclear energy is to bring the country to its knees.
