- jboitnott, on 01/28/2009, -0/+13The Silicon Valley will continue to thrive... if it isn't chips... computers.... electric cars... or gaming -- then it'll become a huge part of your life with new cancer treatments and nano-tech. It is one of the most important economic drivers in the U.S.

- inactive, on 01/29/2009, -0/+2You would think investor money would be flowing out of big businesses and into small startups that have good ideas. I'm hoping that more money will flow into building more nuclear power plants and mass producing electric cars.

- GlobalGizmo, on 01/29/2009, -0/+0This is just another one of those great stories about very intelligent, ambitious people risking a lot to do something that they know is best in the bigger picture. With them leaving adobe and an extremely successful flash program that they developed, it tells a lot about them.
- RakowGroup, on 02/06/2009, -0/+0It's refreshing to see stories regarding the ingenuity of America. We are in a downturn, but it'll be that ingenuity, creative, drive and know-how that push our country back to the economic state in which it needs to be. No amount of taxpayer dollars or stimulus will help; we need to rely on fresh ideas and creativity. It will take time, but as I said, it's refreshing to see companies pushing forward, rather than pausing with an open hand for money from the government.
- financephi, on 02/03/2009, -0/+0Silicon Valley will be one of the last things keeping the US competitive in any industry. It's a place rich in enthusiasm and technology, both of which will make for advances in the way we live.
