- inactive, on 07/24/2008, -12/+1200Ironically, by pulling the ad for being "homophobic" they themselves (i.e. the network or whoever pulled it) are implying that guys who speedwalk must be gay, while the commercial itself makes no such claim.
- rebotfc, on 07/24/2008, -18/+1067to be fair speedwalking is a bit gay.
- Obzerva, on 07/24/2008, -3/+684I want a snickers gatling gun...
- urbandistrict, on 07/24/2008, -9/+473I am going to walk over to the vending machine and purchase me a Snickers™ bar now... Marketing does work.
- cr250guy, on 07/25/2008, -7/+387That was super bowl quality, i cant believe they pulled it. I'ma go get me some nuts.
- Todash19, on 07/24/2008, -8/+372Oh hells yeah
- soulkitchen, on 07/25/2008, -6/+281Motion to pity all those fools. Anyone second?
- lhodsdon, on 07/25/2008, -22/+246And why couldn't they air this?? they have entire stations dedicated to ACTUAL gayness and lesbianism. What is wrong with this country?!
- SQLDigger, on 07/25/2008, -3/+214I pity the fool that calls Mr. T a homophobe.
- UnFriendlyFire, on 07/25/2008, -1/+190I think getting nuts would appeal to gay men.
- cwmather, on 07/25/2008, -8/+184Penis.
- btschul, on 07/25/2008, -22/+170He assaulted the dude with snickers for running like a fag, not for being one. If he went around shooting snickers at gay people, that would be homophobic. This is not homophobic.
- KaiUno, on 07/25/2008, -28/+160Leave it to the heteros to call it homophobic. As a gay man, that was farthest from my mind.
- loki1983, on 07/25/2008, -3/+125this commercial is hilarious!
I would love to see this on air, as much as i loved seeing the salmon commercial of someone kicking a bear in the nuts. - KaiUno, on 07/25/2008, -3/+111Ehr... snickers, actually.
- inactive, on 07/25/2008, -0/+104You should try power walking to the vending machine instead - maybe then Mr. T will pelt you with free Snickers bars and you can save the change.
- JackpotCity, on 07/25/2008, -2/+103That AD's classic FooL!
Ads are supposed to entertaining, the day we decide that laughing at ourselves is wrong is a sad day indeed. - Miamisun, on 07/25/2008, -0/+93Straight people do not speed walk. Good to know.

- yotomote, on 07/25/2008, -1/+84It feels like wearing nothing at all...
nothing at all.. - roosevans, on 07/25/2008, -7/+83Without thinking about the commercial does seem "homophobic" but after the inital shock of the commercial, it is just a funny take on speedwalking, not gays.
- theOster, on 07/25/2008, -5/+81it's like when you give change to that nice black guy on the train
- Navicerts, on 07/25/2008, -2/+78I want to hear the gay perspective.
As a hetero man I have to be honest, it was the furthest thing from my mind too. My thought was that speed walkers are pansies because they don't just jog. - Renster84, on 07/25/2008, -0/+76Motion passed.
Pity those fools. - DrDragun, on 07/25/2008, -0/+72This is what the internet is for. Without it I would never have known this masterpiece existed.
- Kakemonstere, on 07/25/2008, -2/+74Then what WAS on your mind?
- zippyhat, on 07/25/2008, -3/+74Then start speed walking
- zombiecarlin, on 07/25/2008, -1/+69The one in the pinstripe suit reading the Wall Street Journal? He's not nice, the prick never says thank you.
- bizarrorollins, on 07/25/2008, -0/+66I'm not so sure that the commercial is actually homophobic.
What I do know is that this commercial is simply amazing. Mr.T needs to be on TV more often. - EruditeGoof, on 07/25/2008, -4/+69Three Musketeers.
- Pthalio, on 07/25/2008, -0/+65stupid sexy flanders!
- tw0bit, on 07/24/2008, -12/+75He's the one that said "get some nuts"...phony bastard
- RiMac, on 07/25/2008, -1/+62Wimpophobia =/= Homophobia.
- PrinceMissile, on 07/25/2008, -4/+64 Should be nominated for an Emmy.
- madeingermany, on 07/25/2008, -1/+60Some stay-home mom thought that this clip surely must offend gays and complains about it to all her friends and the company pulls it, while neither gay- nor hetero-men cared and could just laugh at the funny ad.
- EbenMarks, on 07/25/2008, -4/+63For your own safety don't try and understand advertising standards in the UK. They pulled an advert that had two men kissing in it because of complaints from American evangelicals that it was promoting homosexuality. Now they pull this for being homophobic, it seems like either they're trying to make up for giving into homophobes the first time or that they just don't want anything or any person that might be construed as gay on TV.
- dOOBiEx213, on 07/25/2008, -5/+61Three buries... looks like you offended three speedwalkers.
- BlackKnight6, on 07/25/2008, -0/+51Here is a tutorial by Mr. T.

- HamSandwich, on 07/25/2008, -0/+48Nah, man... he didn't say he wanted to be the VICTIM of a Snickers gatling gun...
- gllopc, on 07/25/2008, -0/+47Really? It doesn't involve homosexual sex?
Well, clearly I've been doing it all wrong. - KaiUno, on 07/25/2008, -1/+46My thoughts exactly, madeingermany.
American Hollywood production, probably hundreds of people involved, probably a lot of gays as well. It's show business after all. And none of them thought of it as offensive. After that it went through showings, didn't it, to see how the people would react. Passed that. It only became a problem after airing.
Bottom line, if something actually reaches the airwaves... how bad can it be?
Besides... did anybody notice the typical negro aggression? Or were we all too busy pointing out the fag?
Lighten up folks. Gay people have a sense of humor as well. - jks52086, on 07/25/2008, -7/+50A commercial in the UK was pulled? I thought that kind of stuff only happened in the states. This really isn't homophobic . . .
- matu4251, on 07/25/2008, -0/+43The commercial implies that speedwalkers aren't men... it doesn't say that gay men aren't men.
- LongBong, on 07/25/2008, -2/+44uhhhh that wasn't homophobic, even gays are too good for the ***** that is "speedwalking"
- ousthouse, on 07/25/2008, -0/+38Whoever pulled this ad needs a visit from Mr. T and the Snickers gatling gun to man up
- BlackJackJester, on 07/25/2008, -0/+38My prediction - Pain
- mcool119, on 07/25/2008, -4/+40Obviously it's a shot against feminine men, but it's ***** funny too. Society needs to lighten up.
- elmixtli, on 07/25/2008, -3/+39That commercial is 100% Pure Grade A WIN!!!
and I pity the fool who thinks otherwise! - dragon76, on 07/25/2008, -6/+41The speed walker's not dressed well enough to be gay.
