- mulley, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14Update: http://www.tomrafteryit.net/monster-threaten-legal ... The guy left a voicemail and you can hear it now.
- stucurry, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Who is the mysterious Pedro?
- linedash, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Pedro seems to be a Monster.com lacky -- though I doubt he's doing it with their consent. Could be the original spammer also.
Either way, both of them/he show(s) a profound lack of knowledge of how the intarwebs work. Not helpful when you're working in an intarwebs based company. - civperc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4First the database leak, now this...not looking good...
- moulin1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Please note that all posts critical of Monster.com are being quickly buried. Pedro and friends at Monster appear to be on the offensive here on Digg as weel as the blogs. I, for one do not appreciate the criminal tactics being employed by Monster and their employees. And for the record Monster IS nothing but a spam site and employers and job seekers alike would do best to avoid them.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4That's funny, I got my job through them (although most of my company is indeed referrals) in a week and it's the best I've had. I'm almost positive I make more than you do too, since you sound like an absolute moron.
- highplains66, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3wow is that dumb, very bad PR for Monster
- lex0nyc, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I think monster.com was one of the first 50 .com addresses ever registered. You'd think they'd know better by now.
- oldhick, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Ideally, someone will be out of a job very shortly.
- oldhick, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2nope.
- canuq, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Ya i posted the wrong link...but the original site is up now.
- moulin1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Yes. Monster is a worthless spam site.
- anthonymcg, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1A graveyard smash.
- TheRedCoat, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Well played sir.
- louie35, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1never used it cause i never like it.
- farmertomato, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Looks like it's about time to shut down monster.com -- whatever reason it had for existence has pretty well expired. Would anyone ever trust these people in any matter whatsoever?
- unionaire, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I agree with you , Monster is a complete joke, I used craigslist and always get replies for resumes I submitted, but with Monster, i never get anything in return except lots of junk-mails and lots of ads to see.
- tvnation, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2monster is whats wrong with the world ... theyre a disgrace to be called irish...id call em scum

- aukiman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0lol too funny "Pedro" is at least going to earn himself an internet reputation, albeit one of a dumbass ! I had to lol at the comments of a member of one of the sites I admin when we posted up this story.... quoted below for your pleasure

- jatkins679, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Well, at the rest of sounding ***** towards the IT@Cork people, they just need to let it the go. Yes, the monster guy is a douche. But c'mon..... just let it go.
- Kuratowski, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0When will companies learn to use hardball tactics sparingly....
- vwvan, on 10/10/2007, -5/+2monster is a COMPLETE waste of time. i tried them for YEARS and it was nothing but an advertising wasteland.
Most jobs are obtained by word of mouth, cause no one hires you unless they TRUST you and no one TRUSTS you unless they KNOW you.
JOB over the internet?! hahahaahahahahahaha - unionaire, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1So let me get this straight, this person get this 1 email from Monster on the public business email address, and she's whinnying about it for all this long...isn't it a little trivial?
Why'd anyone digg it up in the first place? - cengal, on 10/10/2007, -10/+5monster spamming people
- Fixthemedia, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2That site is all spam.
