Microsoft loses patent appeal
p2pnet.net — In June, a US federal appeals court upheld a ruling that Microsoft Office software infringes on technology patented by Guatamalan inventor Carlos Armando Amado. A jury awarded Amado $6.1 million, and now the US Supreme has refused to consider Microsoft's appeal.
