- beermotor, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10I'm not sure what your problem is; blog search is totally available off of the home page. And you can customize your own homepage to do this. This is a non issue.
- resta6, on 01/12/2009, -2/+7probably due to the fact that "MSM" reports the news, and 99% of the blogs just link to the articles and give a 1 line blurb of cliff notes about it
- bragadocchio, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7I would really like to see news sources side-by-side with blogs. That would be interesting.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4I get about 50 blog searches from google in my email a day.
I'm just wondering what the deal is here. - 7of7, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2First of all there is absolutely no evidence that there is some sort of conspiracy. Second of all most people don't read blogs because they're simply the self important blatherings of someone who happens to have an internet connection. Given that, why should Google or anyone else make it easy to find blogs?
- ddd7, on 10/11/2007, -4/+4well the post discusses how the blog search is not immediately obtainable with one click on the home page. When combined with the other items, it's pretty clear - unless you are a MSM junkie. :)
- redrock34, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2I don't think Yahoo and Google are conspiring for anything, there just hasn't been a demand for this service. Remember, Google is the rebel to the MSM by purchasing YouTube.
- ddd7, on 10/11/2007, -5/+3If you are logged in sharing your personal data maybe. This is about the masses using the default, not you. Thanks.
- kmichaelc, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2dd7...you are right [wing] on, and I like the thinking. The liberal bias in blogs [media] seems to be at work here...news [media] is one click away, why not make blogs [media] one click away too. As an alternative I like bragadocchio idea of news sources side-by-side with blogs.
- ddd7, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2redrock34 - enjoy more watered down, pre-determined AP news.
There is plenty of demand for these services. - ddd7, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1I think you are looking at a symptom of this problem, not the cause. Many of the better MSM stories are ripped off deom blogs without attribution.
