The upper price range can stretch well into the thousands. Do you really think Fortune 500 companies are going to spend £150 on their corporate identity? - reggiemental, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I agree with your sentiments exactly. You get what you pay for. Fortune 500 companies certainly wouldn't be trawling the net looking for someone to design their next logo. This article is aimed at the 'newbie' who may have just started out in business and is trying to establish some sort of 'corporate identity'. I've seen many small companies spend hundreds of pounds on a logo/stationery design, only to find out when it comes to the print stage, that it can only be produced in CMYK. A Fortune 500 company would not blink an eye at paying the extra to produce 4 colour stationery, whereas the guy just starting out needs as much help, financially, as possible. Hence this article.
