- KiMed, on 10/13/2008, -0/+0A few years back, I went to a dance at my middle school. The girls were only allowed to wear dresses if we wore shawls over our shouldars, or sweaters. When a parent asked what the reason was for the change of dress policy, my principal said "We do not want the boys to be going crazy because of the girls." That statement sparked alot of talk between the parents at my school. Basically, she was saying that the boys were weak-minded and lacked self control, so the girls had to suffer through it. I mean, it was not that bad that we were forced to cover up, I agree that little girls, like we were, should not dress so provacatively. But, the fact that we were not allowed to dress that way, because of the boys...is just ridiculous. I agree with many of the statements that were said before, and I wish there was a way to make girls not so...slutty.
