I'm joking, of course. Madoff didn't actually do any investing. - macmcraeart, on 04/07/2009, -4/+11I am not quite sure why but that title is a raging freak of english diction. It makes my head hurt.
- Squarewaffles, on 04/07/2009, -2/+8Title is confusing.

A question in the form "Verb noun preposition" is a valid construct.

Sorry, I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but I just finished watching House, and I must rant. Proceed to digg down. - kaminariko, on 04/07/2009, -2/+2When it's a coined compound noun comprised of a gerund as an adjective along with a corresponding referent, it's best to attempt to avoid ambiguity using either quotation marks around the construction or perhaps capitalize it if it is a relatively well known phrase. Italics are often called for in this case since the term is one that might have a specialized usage in specific social sub-groups.
