Iceland Takes Over Glitnir Bank, Crown Skids

cnbc.com — Following a spree of bank rescues in the United States and Europe, Iceland's government will buy a 75 percent stake in Glitnir, Iceland's third largest bank, for €600 million, tapping its foreign exchange reserves. Icelandic krona falls to a new 6½ year low against the US dollar.
