timesunion.com — People directly affected by the storm that hit the Northeast on Sunday and Monday are entitled to a two-day extension for filing their tax returns, the Internal Revenue Service said Monday. Affected taxpayers, in order to avoid incurring late fees, should mark their paper tax returns with the words ``April 16 Storm,'' the IRS said.
