- fuzzmeister, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Just remember this:
If a tech-savvy person hesitates for even a second on your site, there is no chance that a "regular person" will understand it at all. You can't design a site with yourself in mind, you have to design it with your mother/grandmother in mind. Assuming you actually want to get a larger audience outside of techies, of course. - willoverdrive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Yep, too many tech people make sites for themselves... no one needs half of this Web 2.0 crap and you really see it when you try to sell it offline.

- christopherhib, on 03/03/2009, -0/+0This is some brilliant "common sense" advice, but it's not that related to offline business. It's a fantastic read though
- ryanspahn, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2We have found going to Internet startup events, conferences and gatherings to be the most helpful in getting out word about The Social Alarm Clock; no more buzzer, be awakened by alarm messages (voice-mail or audio files) your friends sent to you on the network.
- illu45, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2Agreed. Mostly just reiterations of "Remember that not everyone is tech-savvy, so keep it simple." Regardless, not a bad article, and written quite well, too.
- jinglehopper, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0so should i walk up to someone and tell them dude i wanna build a jet pack to go everwhere flying at 250mph plus, whos going to believe that

- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1That makes no sense mcm. It says 'Offline'
