- nullcodes, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11You know, Steve Jobs always has a rich set of easy to understand features to present. Maybe THAT is why his presentations are so successful. Wait, I am not saying he is a bad presenter, but I am saying .. presentations tend to be more successful when there's actually stuff to present. Presentation can follow function.
- halfamazing, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11that shouldn't be too hard...

- unabonger, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Steve Jobs is the best in technical presentation???
- ubiquitous03, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5I know they're good friends, but AL Gore's slide show betters Jobs : P

- saleem, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1idk how you havent been dugg up yet, good find! "it just works" :o)
- badken, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1"Likewise in your technical presentation, use everyday examples to explain complicated concepts. I remember evaluating this gentleman’s presentation on “What’s In A Computer?” If not for my technical background, I will not have understand the jargons he used or the way the RAM powers the processing speed of a computer. So you can imagine that if he was presenting to a room full of aunties or non-techies, he will lose them in double quick time."
Brilliant. - meatmcguffin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I found this link a while back which shows Microsoft's *attempts* at presentation and it's really interesting to see the contrast

- wattznext, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Hah. Silly digger. you are such a fool. I wasn't whining, i was making a commentary on how it seems a majority of diggers love anything to do with apple. you somehow made the leap to me being a big time PC buff? We all know what happens when you ASS U ME my friend.
And as far as only digging/commenting on things i like, wouldn't digg be a really boring place if everyone did that? it would be like reading the album reviews on amazon.com, where the only people who bother to comment are those whole love the new Puddle of mudd or some such *****.
I brand you...OVER REACTOR! and cast you down! - TheFlood16, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Step 1: Don't wear a black turtleneck...
- meatmcguffin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1THe presentations themselves are great though. Few words on a black background, sensible transitions used appropriately and the entire show geared around a keynote not tacked on at the end. It even comes down to Jobs wearing a black turtleneck so that his clothes don't detract from the presentation.
MS on the other hand...well....they use stupid pictures and transitions which actually make things more complicated.

- 369view, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0key of good presentation is Knowledge, Knowledge and knowledge of Subject -- if you have comprehensive information about the topic - you are presenting with -- you will have enough confidence to present to anybody --

- neildonn, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Well, that explained it!
- orp2000, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Let's please do away with this myth that Steve Jobs is the "best" technical presenter. He is not that good. He has a little charisma, and that carries him a ways, especially when combined with Apple's ability to come up with interesting products. His presentations are actually a little flat, but all the pundits are wrapped up in the mystique that is Steve Jobs, so they don't see it.
- hshadow914, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0aha south park refrence?
- VitriolAndAngst, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0You don't have fingers and a brain?
Digg something that YOU like. Stop whinning about what other people like -- do what YOU like.

- strafefire, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1All Your Presentation Are Belong To US!
- wattznext, on 10/11/2007, -7/+5I love how everything on digg revolves around Apple. I could see an article about fashion being tagged as "How to improve on Steve Job's classic turtleneck look." Or an article an a breakthrough hair tonic tagged as "Want more hair than Steve Jobs? "HairToday" finally approved by USDA!"
- Mockylock, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0All you have to do is hypnotize your audience with this.
