We throw US workers onto the streets, we pay CHEAP (and I mean quality as well as cost) labor in other countries to do the work that Americans WOULD DO, if they were sought after, and asked to.
No. Now the jackasses in the US Government are also jumping on the bandwagon and outsourcing our jobs to others. That means the tax base falls apart. I hope people in Arizona revolt over this. Vote those elected officals out of office. They've failed you. Instead of looking for local developers to do this job and paying them US Dollars, for which they will A) pay taxes to the local, city, state AND federal levels and B) put monies back into the local economy by purchasing from retailers, car dealers, HOMES and other items that they need.
You've failed us. You people that support outsourcing have failed the United States of America and you should be fired. I would love to debate this clown, Gage Andrews, and his comments that he wouldnt be able to locate US-based development companies to do this work.
I am a developer of ONE and I would have been able to do this work. You just dont want to pay me what I am worth in the United States. Heck, why do we need US-based IT directors anymore - anyway? Couldnt we just outsource these jobs to India or Pakistan or wherever for pennies on the dollar? I bet we'd find a considerable amount of resumes for your job, Gage. Especially if we pay them $9.48 per hour.
I wonder.... just how much of a bonus and kick back did you get recommending a non-US IT company to do this work instead of being patriotic and hiring AMERICANS? You pin-head.
