GM, Ford May Face Bankruptcy on Slowdown, S&P Says
bloomberg.com — General Motors Corp., Ford Motor Co. and Chrysler LLC may be forced into bankruptcy by slowing economies and dwindling U.S. auto sales, Standard & Poor's analyst Robert Schulz said today.

We were once the industrial center of the world. Now we are the service center and even that is being farmed out. NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT and all the other supposed *fixes* have ensured you and your children will be nothing more than vassals on the master's land working to keep your family fed.
Serfdom isn't so bad as long as you don't mind puckering up and kissing your lord's ass whenever he deems it appropriate. I have a few thousand rounds of .308 to send up it before my lips pucker.
We've allowed this to happen and only We can reverse it. DC has sold us to the highest bidder at the behest of the federal reserve. We can wipe the slate clean and start over. The transition won't be painless but will make sure our children/grandchildren don't go through what we're going through.
