- MaddDog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hedge funds are classified as "high risk". While they do very well when the market is going up, they can crash very quickly. If you have investments in hedge funds, consider it a gamble, and be prepared for the worst (total loss).
- CaughtThinking, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1will that guy ever get work again?
- cy_kid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1 OK so let's all look at this... Some jackass was looking forward to higher energy prices (which by the way hurts most of the country) and got his ass kicked when "TA-DA!!! GOOD NEWS!!! Lower gas prices are here and will help the economy". Aww, how unfortunate his buddies took a bath. By the way think about it. If he lost several billion where does it go? It goes somewhere, right? I'll tell you where it went. It went to those betting on a brighter future for energy prices. As we all know BAD news travels fast. But to those who made money hoping for a brighter future for the economy and were willing to put their money on the line, I say way to go and thanks! Bet on the USA not against it.

- daldredge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Did a man by the name of Van Lewis have anything to do with this fund?
- bdigit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1chances are , if you are investing in a hedge fund you usually are using risk capital and not your lifes savings. If you only have a million dollars and you throw all that into a hedge fund, you need to reevaluate your money management skills.

Anyone that uses words like "*****" most likely does not have a clue as to what a hedge fund is. - kinggfx, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0I wish you wouldn't post
