- kilsekddd, on 10/27/2009, -3/+29Why bother? It's the little blue box that men go broke for to win a shallow woman's love.
- ocharry, on 10/27/2009, -2/+26I don't believe in God but I do believe in the reply button.
- mandraque, on 10/27/2009, -2/+25I was touched by god when I was little. Daddy told me not to tell anyone.
- geesamba, on 10/27/2009, -1/+24Touched by God? Really?
- MCA2142, on 10/27/2009, -3/+21They left out the part with the killings and the "blood."
- geauxtig3rs, on 10/27/2009, -0/+13You know, a diamond cutter has to apprentice for 10 years before he can begin on diamonds at one carat or more. And high powered microscope my butt, it's 30 power, nothing to sneeze at, but they are making it sound like it's an SEM.
- pixelwerx, on 10/27/2009, -0/+12It's just a ***** rock.
- mmrp, on 10/27/2009, -1/+13Wait, wait... was this the Tiffany & Co. Laurelton Diamond facility in Antwerp, Belgium? Cause I'm not sure whether it's the Tiffany & Co. Laurelton Diamond facility in Antwerp, Belgium.

The first article talks about their diamonds they get from De Beers in the Sierre Leone and Botswana amongst other places.
From the second link it directly says "Tiffany reported that it anticipated approximately 25% of its total annual diamond purchases will come from Canada's Aber Diamond Corporation. " - WRXFiles, on 10/27/2009, -1/+9Suggested reading:

- Awwzm, on 10/27/2009, -1/+8It's even dirtier and messier when they mine it out of the Earth.
- Jelly292, on 10/27/2009, -1/+8Truer words were never spoken.
- borez, on 10/27/2009, -1/+7You wouldn't want to be doing that job with a hangover.
- zohaibusman, on 10/27/2009, -0/+6Blood Diamonds??
- crichards7, on 10/27/2009, -0/+6Sol: No, it's a moissanite.
Bad Boy Lincoln: A what-a-nite?
Sol: A moissanite is an artificial diamond, Lincoln. It's Mickey Mouse, mate. Spurious. Not genuine. And it's worth... *****-all. - LittleDas, on 10/27/2009, -0/+5Dugg because nothing says "I love you" like the blood of African children.
- MacBookForMe, on 10/27/2009, -0/+5I was surprised how dirty and messy top jewely profession looks like in reality, and what a stunningly shinning pieces are coming out at the end of their 'assembly line'...
- combatchuck, on 10/27/2009, -1/+6Agreed. The only reason I gave a diamond ring is because it has sentimental value to me, because it was my mother's.
- anenemyairship, on 10/27/2009, -0/+3Presenting a girl with jewelry to impress her is kind of...primitive to me.
Kind of like a caveman bringing home a cave-woman a shiny rock to "oooooh" and "aaaaah" at it.
I think this, and I'm a girl. - Iceman21, on 10/27/2009, -0/+3Diamonds are only used because they are romanticized and portrayed by advertising as a genuine token of love, when its just a transparent crystal at the end of the day.
I prefer the more colored stones as gifts, ruby, pearl, sapphire. - linagee, on 10/27/2009, -2/+5They don't call them blood diamonds for nothing.
- googooly, on 10/27/2009, -15/+18Your God is a pervert
- CaviMike, on 10/27/2009, -0/+3Almost every picture has it in the caption as if we didn't see it the first 10 times.
- Mujokan, on 10/27/2009, -0/+3Gems are a big rip-off for the many people who prospect for them in terrible conditions.
- DecoyQ, on 10/27/2009, -0/+3that diamond was puked on which makes it even MORE rare now. Charge an extra $5K for the puke carat cut.
- bschonec, on 10/27/2009, -0/+3Diamonds are only really useful for one thing -- cutting *****. The rest is De Beers excellent marketing. Yes, three months salary is too much to ask.
- inactive, on 10/27/2009, -1/+3A diamond ..for shallow whores everywhere.
- verynegative, on 10/27/2009, -0/+2***** diamonds. I'd rather buy a Gibson Les Paul.
- DecoyQ, on 10/27/2009, -0/+130 power! big bang!
- CaviMike, on 10/27/2009, -0/+1Bling bang.
- crashlock, on 10/30/2009, -0/+1I thought super hot girls sat around naked cutting diamonds.
Dream now shattered :( - DecoyQ, on 10/27/2009, -0/+1polishing rocks can't be dirty at all... really?
- Chooxo, on 10/27/2009, -2/+3True enough, diamonds are just rocks and a waste of money.
But I wonder if apathy towards diamonds in a community (say, Digg) is in any way associated with whether or not people in that community have girlfriends. - Stoyanov, on 10/27/2009, -0/+1Brilliant.
- Frostek, on 10/27/2009, -0/+1Mainly misery to men though, let's face it.
- Stoyanov, on 10/27/2009, -0/+1Charlie: I shoot you, you go down!
[Charlie shoots Tony three more times]
Charlie: Why don't you ***** die! - mandraque, on 10/27/2009, -1/+1Oh I get it. lol. dugg then.
- SkilledPrestO, on 10/27/2009, -3/+3These people need to get with the times. Windows XP was so Oct. 21st...
They need to upgrade. - jgopp, on 10/27/2009, -6/+6Actually the vast majority of tiffany diamonds come from a mine in northern Canada. I watched a show on the discovery channel about it. They pay the natives a very hefty wage and give them jobs in return for use of the land. Tiffany is trying to make sure they control all aspects of the diamond mining/cutting/selling process. They were also one of the first companies to sign up for the kimberly process which helps track diamonds and make sure people are getting a fair wage.
- mandraque, on 10/27/2009, -1/+130 power! jesus!
- linagee, on 10/27/2009, -2/+2Touched by god to enslave small children to work diamond mines. Hrm...
- mandraque, on 10/27/2009, -3/+2Except those are not blood diamonds. Tiffany doesnt buy blood diamonds.
- mandraque, on 10/27/2009, -4/+1oh i get it, google indexing. I think.
