- NSResponder, on 10/03/2008, -0/+23Ron Paul achieved some amazing things in his campaign, and the biggest one was to put many things back on the agenda that were given up as lost causes nearly a hundred years ago. Because of his presidential run and the organization that he created afterwards, tens of thousands of people now know what the Federal Reserve is, who owns it, how and why it inflates the money, and who benefits when they do.
We have a lot of work ahead of us to abolish the empire and restore the republic.
-jcr - libertygal76, on 10/03/2008, -0/+17Ron Paul can't be THAT much of a kook if such people are taking his ideas so seriously!! Woulda, shoulda, coulda listened to him...but NOOOO call him a kook and laugh instead!
- odigity, on 10/03/2008, -0/+14He's not a kook. The media painted him a kook because their status quo is threatened by anyone who isn't willing to be in on the game. The media is a great big weapon that can destroy anyone's reputation in a day through coordinated slander, spin, misrepresentation, framing, etc.
If you ever try to go against the media, you'll experience it firsthand. It takes serious courage to do so. - cityguyyoga, on 10/03/2008, -0/+13The problem with the FED is that since it was setup in 1913 we have had nothing but 10 year cycles of boom and bust, like it's meant to be some kind of natural order. In a balanced eco system, we don't need cycles of despair and home repossessions every cycle, all while the Goldman Sachs of the world continue to use insider information to sell off their interests in AIG and other securities before the panic becomes mainstream.
This collusion by the Banks, and Government has resulted in a poor fiscal policy, and for the first time since the Great Depression, people on Main street are being directly affects just before every seat in congress is up for re-election.
Did you know that employees and members of Goldman Sachs AND JP Morgan Chase are amongst the largest contributors to both Mc Cain and Obama. See below
Politics and Wall street have gotten so entangled, that the parties have forgotten to pretend that they represent democracy and the people, and have stood shoulder to shoulder to protect their interested - and sponsore.
It's time to wake up america. Individually we are weak, but together we can stand strong. What are you going to do?

Ron Paul is:
1. Not racist - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvFLSwDvBUA 2. Not in favor of "controlling what a woman does with her own body". As a gynecologist, in his professional opinion, abortion is murder. As a libertarian, he absolutely supports a woman's right to do whatever she wants with her body, he just doesn't support a woman's right to do whatever she wants with her baby's body.
3. Not an isolationist. He believes in the same philosophy as the founding fathers: "Trade and commerce with all nations, entangling alliances with none". - EnterReality, on 10/03/2008, -0/+9I hope that bill passes.
- col381, on 10/03/2008, -0/+7The following video provides and excellent rundown of how the existing system works and what can be done to fix it, be sure to watch all five parts by clicking on the links supplied on each.

Really, everyone should see this - If you haven't seen this before you are in for a treat, you won't believe how the system works today it will blow your mind that we have allowed this to continue for so long.

ron paul ftw! - inactive, on 10/04/2008, -1/+4If Ron Paul wrote the bill - it's constitutional.
- Richandler, on 10/04/2008, -0/+2This has to build up momentum. Like we have to blitz the email and phones of our representatives and get Ron's bill passed. We the people...
- mouthbreether, on 10/03/2008, -3/+5Nowhere in that article did it mention anybody supporting Ron Paul’s Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act (HR 2755).
- OnGard4Liberty, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1"I am a friend of the Free State Project. Check it out and if you like it, join and continue the effort" -- Ron Paul
http://freestateproject.org/intro/ron_paul - ProfessorSYM, on 10/04/2008, -0/+1Ridiculed, violently opposed, accepted as self-evident.
Ron Paul has basically passed through all three stages of truth during the course of this presidential campaign cycle. Although he will not be President, it is not too late for him to continue to make a difference in Congress and elsewhere. - schallb, on 10/04/2008, -0/+1If you read the charter for the federal reserve ,you will find that America can buy them out for 450 million dollars. Now thats a bargain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
