- BetterOffEd, on 06/18/2008, -0/+1I realize that it's somewhat of a circular argument and that the effects mutually feed themselves, but price inflation won't start to subside until the value of the dollar makes a significant worldwide rebound.
And that won't happen until the government becomes much more fiscally responsible... Curb federal spending, stop increasing funding to the war in Iraq, stop the endless borrowing from China, etc.
Consumers have a long way to go themselves, but the federal government's fiscal irresponsibility certainly isn't helping matters.
