  • RogerStrong, on 09/29/2008, -0/+1Stop *some* telemarketers from calling you. Most - charities, political parties, polling companies, newspapers selling subscriptions - can still call you.

    Also organizations with which the consumer has an existing business relationship - your bank and credit card companies can still keep phoning you trying to sell you insurance and other services. And just about anyone you've dealt ever with. And anyone who can use weasel words to claim an existing business relationship .
  • awaisjaffery, on 09/30/2008, -0/+0yea it seems pretty useless in that sense.. just the new telemarketers cant reach you .. but its still better than nothing maybe it will stop the 10% of the telemarketers from calling you.
