DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW, PAY LESS
boortz.com — We're trying to get one million signatures on this online petition to encourage congress to address energy prices by opening up our vast oil reserves. Right now (as I type this) there are 821,900 signatures. I know Boortz listeners and Diggers can put this over 1,000,000 by the end of the day. http://www.americansolutions.com/

- siszam, on 06/17/2008, -5/+2Drilling isn't the answer. We have record reserves and consumption is down. Supply and demand is not the problem here.
- 4wheel, on 06/18/2008, -1/+2Although I agree that supply and demand aren't the problem, I also feel that we should work towards being energy independent. We shouldn't have to rely on other nations for our own needs. That includes creating alternatives to oil for power.
- BigBenKlingon, on 06/18/2008, -3/+1If you knew anything about the petroleum industry's mechanics behind revenue streams of upstream and downstream production, you'd realize supply and demand IS the problem, but not in a way you'd understand.
Read a book for christsakes..or maybe take a class or something. You make it too easy.- 4wheel, on 06/18/2008, -1/+3You may want to pick up a book on economics and the rise and fall of the value of the U.S. dollar on the world economy. You prove you're not real bright every time you post.

That's not even a complete sentence jackass. You might want to pick up a remedial english book before trying to act like you know what the hell you're talking about. Irregardless, if you've read the thing, instead of looking at all the pretty pictures, you'd know that the point you so eloquently "tried" to make is a complete misnomer.
Tell me 4wheel, where did you take your Econ 101 class? Hmmm?
- 4wheel, on 06/18/2008, -0/+1Smallgreymatter, I'm going to say this just for you. The reason it's just for you is due to the fact that everyone else understood what I was saying. If the U.S. were oil independent, the speculators couldn't speculate. You prove yourself a mental midget each time you reply to me. By all means, keep it up. It's very amusing.
- BigBenKlingon, on 06/19/2008, -1/+1Does it make a sound when you backpedal like that, or are you so well used to it, you can do it silently now?
Oh, and you're ***** CRAZY if you think that we'd be speculation free if we were oil independent. That's a big red flag stating "HEY! not only do I not know a ***** THING about economics, but I also don't know SQAUT about market dynmaics."
When are you just going to admit that you're way over your head? Or would you like to continue saying "well what I meant was..."
Jackass. - 4wheel, on 06/19/2008, -1/+1ROFLMAO!!!
- BigBenKlingon, on 06/19/2008, -1/+1You know what they say, if you can't laugh at yourself sometimes...
