If owners, managers and employees dress a little more professionally, depending on the profession of course, that professional attitude carries over into their performance, how they interact with others and how others perceive them. If the VP comes in wearing shorts and flip flops, that sends a message... Just as having 2 hour XBOX games going on during work hours sends a message. That relaxed attitude if not managed well can carry over into client interactions and harm the business. There is a time and place for everything.
