- dublindog, on 03/26/2009, -0/+2The techcrunch posts says they are using gasbuddy and opis for the pricing. looks like they just put a better implementation with google maps. pretty cool to be able to route all the stations . I found a station that's halfway between home and work that's 13 cents cheaper!
- inactive, on 03/25/2009, -0/+2"Sorry, but no gas stations were found matching your usage profile and selected filter criteria. Please adjust your settings and try again." Thanks I always thought that there are no real gas stations in my town.
- diggydougie, on 03/26/2009, -0/+1What is this "work" of which you speak? I hear it exists but haven't seen it.
- Matt88, on 03/26/2009, -0/+1Gotta love Twitter - this was a hot topic 2 days ago
- walshgopher, on 03/26/2009, -0/+1Yea well George Shrinks is bringing a cost cutting engine to his zooper car. Take that Bill!
- diggydougie, on 03/26/2009, -0/+1Or you could check out gasbuddy.com. Gives you the same information without the intrusion. But I don't think it has the same mapping features. Just a list of the best stations. The prices are reported wiki style buy the users. So there is no favoritism with contracted stations.
- dublindog, on 03/26/2009, -0/+1Looks like it's back up...
- jobeus, on 03/26/2009, -1/+2The map's a neat addition, but GasBuddy has been doing this for years.
- atomicpoet, on 03/24/2009, -1/+2Thank you for this. We have a minivan inherited from another family member. The gas bill is monstrous.

Fuel economy = miles / gallon
Cost = unitPrice * numOfGallons
As miles -> 0, gallons -> +infinity
As numOfGallons -> +infinity, Cost -> +infinity
So, yes. The price of fuel obviously plays into this. But, like I said above, he was referring to the FUEL ECONOMY of a SPECIFIC CAR.
Why is he not allowed to complain on Digg (he wasn't even really complaining; he was thanking the submitter)? What's the statute of limitations on complaining about gas? It's about $2 less here than it was about a year or so ago, but nowhere near as cheap as it was around 2001. Do you know when he got the car? Do you know how long he's been paying for his own fuel?
Go away now. - inactive, on 03/26/2009, -0/+0I think he was referring to the fuel economy of a specific car, not the price of fuel.
- bobroberts1953, on 03/26/2009, -2/+0Crashed at 8 Diggs!
- inactive, on 03/25/2009, -4/+0Neat service, but soon to be completely unnecessary; After all, Obama's going to buy everybody and electric car, right?

What is Digg?
