- revarien, on 12/13/2007, -0/+11Kudos to a company fessing up to a mistake...
Not that I SHOULD have to give kudos to a company fessing up to a mistake, but it's just rare nowadays. - ieataquacrayons, on 12/13/2007, -1/+11So a company realizes there mistake and sends a letter to correct it. I'd get more joy if it was written by a lolcat.
- egonSchiele, on 12/13/2007, -0/+9good for best buy, but I still hate them.
- Synthesize, on 12/13/2007, -2/+11If Best Buy was really sorry, they would have given him a free plasma television or something.
- Synthesize, on 12/13/2007, -0/+8Would you like a warranty for that apology?
- ffeineandsugar, on 12/13/2007, -1/+9I still think that Laughing Squid isn't as funny as Best Buy's return policies....
- DigDugDigger, on 12/13/2007, -1/+7I can haz forgiveness? Buy mai productz plz, kthxbai.
- Tyrghast, on 12/13/2007, -0/+5one that breaks down as soon as the warranty expires!
- jmpeagle, on 12/13/2007, -1/+6it's probably brought more visitors to their site...might as well milk it
- mal1964, on 12/13/2007, -1/+4"After contacting Best Buy's Corporate Public Relations Group"
***** they dont have one - noseeme, on 12/13/2007, -0/+3Best Buy sent me a cease and desist letter for selling someone a broken piece of electronics and not taking it back, saying that they have several trademarks on that process.
- Calculon, on 12/13/2007, -0/+3and takes half damage...
- noseeme, on 12/13/2007, -0/+2I've always wondered how they do that, it's ***** magical, and never fails to happen.
- Hitmistress, on 12/13/2007, -1/+3BestBuy saves!
- mal1964, on 12/13/2007, -1/+3One day and a apology not, at least three lawyers have to go over it. one day?,think about it!
- DirtySnachez, on 12/13/2007, -0/+2That doesn't even make sense.
- nowayhoseb, on 12/13/2007, -0/+2I logged in to say this: I hate Best Buy.
thank you. - inactive, on 12/13/2007, -0/+2Yeah, all those sites "milking it". Like all web sites do, since visitors equals money?
Try to say something dumber about it, I dare you. - mal1964, on 12/13/2007, -2/+3I bet someones counting how many fools, its a gag on digg coming to utube soon
- mal1964, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1I don't think i can watch a full one do you sell half portions
- inactive, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1OR you could just see the video on the Improv Everywhere web site.
It's a gag on the people who weren't in on it. It has nothing to do with digg.
Lay off the crack. - roberto_deneero, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1Tail between the legs FTW!!
- mal1964, on 12/13/2007, -1/+2In the letter in so many words it says, we know what you are doing is ok now, first you don't think they would know before the letter was sent? also best buy I'm sure doesn't like them from the prank. I have a feeling if they don't like you it would not be that easy to resolve one day never., look at just the store polices
- gaysex, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1*their
- inactive, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1Why don't you try being funny and show them how to do it, instead of being a bitch?
They are amusing, you so far have not been.
Yeah, it's not HAHA funny sometimes, but not everything can be a nut shot on America's Funniest Home Videos (I'm guessing that is what you are comparing it to). - cusoman, on 12/13/2007, -6/+6My favorite part about that article was the "ongoing coverage" part at the end, like it's some big deal that needs constant updates. Should we expect a full synopsis story in a few days, laughing squid?
- dasdef, on 12/13/2007, -2/+2whats so funny about them? Ive returned several items without hassle. i figure best buy is good if you know exactly WTF you want and if you're persistent with certain policies. PMing ftwwwwww.
- animal71, on 12/13/2007, -3/+3Hmmm Rather than "Good for Best Buy," you feel it's "Best for Goodbye" ?
- mal1964, on 12/13/2007, -3/+2Oh i didn't know you were here, I always make a extra post just for you to understand.
- mal1964, on 12/13/2007, -2/+1but i knew yesterday, my statement
"***** the mail doesn't arrive on the same day it was sent." - LeRenard, on 12/13/2007, -3/+2Did anyone else follow the links back to the "Best Buy Mission"? http://laughingsquid.com/improv-everywhere-best-bu ...
That seriously strikes me as one of the lamest things I've seen in awhile. I think it has something to do with the demographics of the people in the group photo.. - mal1964, on 12/13/2007, -3/+1this statement is the straw that broke the camels back!
"The letter was the result of my call yesterday to Best Buy Corporate Public Relations Group explaining the situation regarding their demand letter"
my five year old son pointed it out to me. - inactive, on 12/13/2007, -3/+1This is so not anything important.

http://www.icmrindia.org/casestudies/catalogue/Hum ... - mal1964, on 12/13/2007, -4/+1If you owned a company and received this letter from a major company that have more lawyers than you have employees. Whats your first move, mmm i can call a lawyer or someone I know to discuss it, Or post it on digg and laugh? If its serious you do the first choice, if its a joke you do the second.
- mal1964, on 12/13/2007, -4/+1http://www.icmrindia.org/casestudies/catalogue/Hum ...
- reversekilled, on 12/13/2007, -22/+9Now when will improv everywhere apologize for not being funny?
