Bayer vigorously defending its patent that hasn't expired

isthislegit.com — Watson Laboratories and Sandoz have both filed applications with the FDA to produce generic versions of Bayer's Yasmin contraceptive product. The only problem is that the patent on the drug hasn't expired yet.
