- RTBjr73, on 07/22/2008, -0/+17great article!!! to the point.
I have also been keeping up to date with GLCzone.com, which is a perfect niche site for people interested in a helthy lifestyle and personal growth. With the time and effort put into this site, it will be a place that will always be useful and user friendly to everyone who visits. - kellfinder, on 07/22/2008, -0/+16Excellent assessment of social media. You have nailed the future of the web!
- CrotchetyOldMan, on 07/22/2008, -0/+15It does appear to be the future. Niche sites target one's interests while encouraging growth through ancillary topics.
- robertstevenson, on 07/22/2008, -0/+15Very well done. Anyone with a blog or simply interested in health should read this. Highly recommended by top bloggers.
- babsuri, on 07/22/2008, -0/+15Excellent, Thank you so much for sharing with us.
- inactive, on 07/22/2008, -0/+14This makes much sense - as the HUGE Social Media sites like our Digg spin off smaller more targeted sites. It is exactly what we need. We do not need another DIGG as we have digg itself. Having a group of smaller niche-related sites to allow targeted traffic to unclog the arteries of the Digg's of the world.
- inactive, on 07/22/2008, -0/+14I don't even know why I come on here except for the fact I like some of the people.I digg like a robot and it gets old quick. Here's some dofollow juice to mixx it up and it's better than mixx ;) http://www.searchles.com/
- scroogereport, on 07/22/2008, -0/+14Is it possible to be too social? ;)
- DocKC, on 07/22/2008, -0/+13This article is amazing and thank you for taking the time to write it!
- timethief, on 10/30/2008, -0/+13I agree with you. Niche social media sites are part of our future. They can and will target and deliver the relevance that large multi-topical sites like Digg can't target and deliver.
- Villagemom, on 07/22/2008, -0/+7It is amazing watching the growth of social media. I agree !!
- inactive, on 07/23/2008, -0/+6Niche sites are the way to go, but myspace and facebook are worth joining too.
- inactive, on 07/22/2008, -0/+4Nahh - One can never have too many friends - now as for social networks... is there enough hours in a day?
- AmyVernon, on 07/23/2008, -1/+5i do love facebook, and i believe such sites will always have their place. but this makes a lot of sense; there are only so many general sites that can exist; niche has to be the future..
- shearyadi, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2Alright, have been trying almost all of those social media sites but only focus on digg and SU at the moment. At least they have giving me something and more new friends :)
- csiunatc, on 07/22/2008, -1/+3Oh you mean the SPLOG bizflip that keeps stealing posts?
http://blog.bizzflip.com/.....
This post heading their blog today - change881, on 07/22/2008, -1/+3Don't foget the niche classifieds...www.bizzflip.com, www.ecoflip.org!!
- zaggededge, on 08/02/2008, -0/+1The better the niche the more targeted the advertising!
- csiunatc, on 07/22/2008, -1/+2Cut out sleep and you might have enough to cover everything :)
- csiunatc, on 07/23/2008, -1/+2You are absolutely correct, the power of numbers will always be there, but the trick here is to tap into the resource that unless you are actually participating, will compete with you using the combined power of all the sites that do participate.

What is Digg?
