- swight, on 11/07/2007, -0/+5It pisses me off to no end that I am blocked from Comedy Central in the United States because I live in Canada. This is not the spirit of the internet. I am now redirected, without a choice, to thecomedynetwork.ca -- where they advertise on the television channel that the website has 95% less suckage than previous versions of the website. That may be true, but it REALLY sucked before. And cutting off the Daily Show archive? How the hell does that conflict with international deals? Where are they showing Daily Show's from 1999?

- geekchic, on 11/07/2007, -1/+2The internet may not have borders, but copyright laws and reuse permissions most certainly do.
A company which pays for the exclusive license to broadcast their content in the UK (for example) would not be too happy to see that the videos they paid for can be downloaded for free from a US based website.
