If a few airlines go out of business, why should we (the tax payers) have to pay for their failing business model. We need the airlines to compete with each other rather then letting them do whatever the hell they want.
If you aren't making money -There's usually a good reason. Your prices are too high and your employees take pride in harassing people in the name of national security. Pretty soon the pilots will be the ones loading the planes, filling it up and flying them.
