Airline allows cell phone calls in-flight

blogs.computerworld.com — The Dubai-base Emirates airline has announced a policy of allowing passengers to make cell phone calls during flight. Quantas has announced plans to allow the use of cell phones for text messaging and e-mail. Is this the way all airlines should go -- combining convenience with common sense?

  • WriterSD, on 03/22/2008, -0/+4 It would be nice to be able to call people while on a flight. But I also don't want to hear other people's conversations. So I'd rather cell phones not be used.
