  • RQJenkins, on 12/04/2008, -0/+0AT&T is feeling the pinch of recession, even in the midst of the iPhone craze. People have evidently also been disconnecting their regular land lines and going only for wireless plans, so the company has been losing revenue over that as well; so much so that they are laying off 12,000 employees - but at least they are giving them a severance package.
