You really did your homework. Excellent article but there were some grammatical errors. However, I was still completely able to understand. In a word - Globalisation. The effects of the activities of Multinational Corporations on standards of living is to make them go down. When a country and now more and more of the world starts to lose it's Middle Class, Tyranny and Oppression are not far from said activities. George Orwell said it best:
"We of the sinking middle class may sink without further struggles into the working class where we belong, and probably when we get there it will not be so dreadful as we feared, for, after all, we have nothing to lose."

These Companies look at Asia, India, South America Romania and some of the other Eastern Bloc Countries and see cheap labor. It is a confluence of factors that we are seeing actually. First, jobs are eliminated through the adoption of modern technology. Next, through the implementation of Globalisation, jobs are eliminated and world economic systems are "balanced". The article you wrote expands and expounds upon this in relation to Nokia. I believe the biggest problems are yet to come. That problem is mainly the underrepresented masses in Asia - kept down, obedient and subservient and given a distant foe to loathe - the West. Put simply, global economics are ultimately driven by the production of tangible goods - someone has to get their hands dirty to make products to be sold that are injected into the global economic markets. All other forms of capitalism are basically a Shell Game. Anyway, back to work!
