To blame are sellers holding out for their asking price and buyers holding out while remaining convinced that prices are going to suddenly drop. Many sellers are forced to pay two monthly mortgages.

    6 years ago a friend bought a row home in Philadelphia for $90,000. Now the row homes are selling for $200,00+. It's a total rip off.
    Oh, instead of calling them row homes (which is what they are) the retailers are calling them town houses to up the price. SCREW THEM!
