- fadeout, on 10/10/2007, -2/+83"I want a goddamn litre of cola!"
- Error601, on 10/10/2007, -0/+61They only been selling those at 7-11 for a decade or two.
- torched, on 10/10/2007, -2/+60"could you make that hugo a diet coke please, i'm on atkins."
- chicoer2001, on 10/10/2007, -2/+53I think everyone knows that soda is bad for you. If you dont like it, dont buy it. McDonalds will stop selling it if it fails to sell. If it's a hit, the only people to blame are the ones drinking it.
- PismoDuo, on 10/10/2007, -2/+41I've always thought that most of this "McDonald's makes people fat" propaganda is just garbage. McDonald's didn't make you fat, you made you fat by eating there for lunch every day and get the jumbo meal deal instead of just a hamburger. I eat at McD's on occasion, but I know people who stop there for those breakfast sandwiches on their way to work, then go there for lunch again.
Society should not have to play nursemaid to you just because you like your hamburger with 4 all beef patties or drink a 42 oz cup of Pepsi on a daily basis.
However, I like the bigger cup. It seems great if you're driving a long distance. - webcure, on 10/10/2007, -0/+30Can you bring me a pail of cola with that burger please!
It's so cheap, who cares if it is 5 times more than I want to drink! - ladyarcher85, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30Yes, blame macdonald's every time people decide for themselves to order these fatty, heart attacks on plates and sodas because hey it's always great to point a chubby finger at someone else.
When will people take responsibility for their own decisions and actions? - dagnabbit, on 10/10/2007, -0/+28Obviously named after the fattest character on Lost. Although I prefer Sawyer's nickname for him, "Jumbotron". That might work for the drink, too.
- JD52, on 10/10/2007, -1/+28"Um..... do we sell litre o' cola?"
- Carpex, on 10/10/2007, -7/+32That's a good deal in fact. For 0.89$, you get the choice between type 2 diabetes or heart failure (if you take the diet).

- OUPablo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+24I'm sick of people complaining about fast food and smoking making them fat or killing them. If you are worried that what you are doing is affecting your health, STOP DOING IT! McDonald's shouldn't have to be responsible for making decisions for people.
- JD52, on 10/10/2007, -1/+24I did a quick calculation and if you ordered a chocolate shake in one of those 42oz cups you would be consuming 1522.5 Calories.
That has to be a record of some kind. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+26with a side of double bacon *****
- pjohns, on 10/10/2007, -0/+20"Can I get that in an IV drip?"
- spwpi10, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15That's what the big cup is for.
- capiCrimm, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14can't I just have both?
- barnis, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14The "Power Peanut Butter Moo'd" from Jamba Juice has 1170 Calories!

http://www.starbucks.com/retail/nutrition_beverages.asp - brstilson, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13If America wasn't so uptight about alcohol, McDonalds sell McBeer here like they do in Germany.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12i don't understand the point of this "Hugo"... why not go to the nearest store and buy a 2-liter bottle if you want that much?
- tidu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12We got 44oz's at Wawa ;)
- BIGmog, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11No ice please.

- defectDS, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10What in this new confangled comment system is causing so many double posts? There is at least one in every story!
- iceperson, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Naw. It'll still be a cup of ice with about 6 onces of soda. Last time I went to the McDs drive through My drink was empty by the time I exited the parking lot...
- TheDragon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9"Litre is french for give me a ***** soda before I punch vous ***** face"
- NinjaBoy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8I can call ***** on that one. I used to eat there 3-4 times a day. And i smoked. And i didn't give a rats ass. Then i woke the ***** up, quite smoking and started working out. You dont even realize how ***** you feel until you start to become healthy again.
- speaker219, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Yes.
- mancat, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Hey the writers might as well add a McDonald's, since they'll never have to explain how it got there anyway.
- bmfiii, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7"fouth meal" is taco bell...
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Everybody knows. America doesn't need you making their decisions for them.
- bobcrotch, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Honestly the quality of Subway's ingredients alone are horrible. Any of the meats you order are packed with salt and preservatives. The veggies are normally decent... but it's hard to ***** that up.
Your best bet is a veggie with no mayo, oil, or cheese. But their bread isn't exactly healthy either.
To be completely honest here though I don't really give a *****. I hate seeing people that think Subway is healthy though, you are filling your body with crap. I'm not saying I don't eat subway though, I'm the same as you are if I need a fast bite thats where I go. It's not fried and it's not as bad as a burger for you. - bobcrotch, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Fast food is not healthy. If you are a health conscious person you wouldn't be eating fast food, period.
- carbonfree314, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Subway is not expensive, if you actually _do_ eat their healthy options. Their veggie sub (6-inch) is only $2.19, which is cheaper than those nasty value menu items from McD's.
- g30ph, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I always asked for my drink with no ice, then when they hand me a half a cup of soda I give it right back and ask them to fill it up please.
- toolsdrummer, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6dugg just for Wawa
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I miss the short lived bucket of fries... that was horribly delicious
- ddxChrist, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5It depends. Given that all of the nutritional information is available, and the control you have over your sandwich, you can indeed make a good and healthy meal there. I go for fast food very rarely, but if I do it's always at Subway. You can make it as unhealthy or as healthy as you want.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6now we get to see the long term effects of large quantities of phosphoric acid ingested (i.e. coke)
- bobcrotch, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Who cares? It's a big ass soda, you can pick them up at any convenience store.
- norman619, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6LET THE DNA DAMAGE BEGIN!!!
- pathy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7Supersize Me shows how sick you can get if you,
a) Eat nothing but McDonalds
b) Force yourself to eat there 3 times a day, even if you aren't hungry
c) Always order the largest size
d) Stop exercising, and indeed, limit the amount of walking you can do
e) Are a vegan before you impose these rules, causing your body to undergo a massive shift in diet
There's no dispute that McDonalds isn't good for you, but don't swallow every ***** lie you're told. - SnuKs, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I bet this doesn't beat a Double Big Gulp filled with Slurpee
