Will Sonics' Move to Oklahoma City Really Change it's Image?
ap.google.com — The AP says that the Sonics' move to Oklahoma City will mean a change in public perception for a place which was once thought of as a cow town, or identified with the dust bowl. Can a basketball team really transform a city's image?

- dafragsta, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Having been born and spending most of my life there and accepting that some of the bad stereotypes are true, it's also not THAT bad. OKC has come a long way in 10 years. I think they need this as a spotlight to help get rid of some of the negative images people have of Oklahoma as being one of the "flyover states."
