come out and plaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy - inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+13And then comes Lebron
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+7Can you digg it?
- cindylauper, on 11/21/2008, -0/+6as if I should care about your opinion...some people might actually be sports fans and care about a trade involving their team
- DickyT83, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5Warriors really made out on this deal. Stephen J can go back to being a SG and Crawford's going to take over the offense. Harrington hasn't done *****, surprised the Knicks gave up Crawford for that.
- bigtimslim, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5This could work out well for both teams. Its not one of those I give you one good player for 4 crappy, 2 of which that will end up getting waived.
- smacksaw, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4I would have hoped that the Warriors could have gotten a better upgrade at the point, but it's a start. The Knicks are looking good if Starbury quits being such a freak. Now they can get Lebron and they can trade Randolph to my Clippers!
- smacksaw, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4If you're going to spam in English, at least try to have it make sense.
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4A rumor goes that you spamming are.
- arkboysooner, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4If the Knicks don't get Lebron this trade was monumentally stupid.
- cadebbie, on 11/22/2008, -0/+4I want ALL the Warriors! I could watch that movie again and again.
- kirualeorio, on 11/22/2008, -0/+4WE BELIEVE!!!
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4And then comes me crying in the shower for days at a time because the Cavs are going to blow so horribly.
- tolbs, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3I really doubt it. The guy wore a Yankees cap to an Indians playoff game against the Yankees. He's just stringing everyone in Cleveland along.
- DemiRonin, on 11/21/2008, -1/+4Haha I totally forgot Al Harrington was on the Warriors, that says something
- haterrade, on 11/22/2008, -0/+3there's no way they get an arena built in Brooklyn in time
- spikyvashy, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2dammit to hell , crawford was hot as hell and carried the team offensively , whats his avg 22 ppg ? I still remember that game he scored over 50 points n' destroyed miami single handedly.
What we don't need is another 6-9 player to start a logjam.
N' from what I'm hearing all over is that the warriors were dying to get rid of him cuz he sucks so why teh fug knicks want him ? - aguywithnobeer, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2YES! Potential 25ppg for mr. my back hurts
- tolbs, on 11/21/2008, -1/+3This is like Christmas! I can't believe the Warriors got anything of value for Harrington. Good Riddance!
- Bigcolby, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2if he thinks he's disgruntled now I don't think the trash org that the present-day Knicks are will help...
- dlsmith2, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2the Knicks will never get rid of Dolan, its impossible. Its like someone suggesting NBC should get rid of GE but either way this is a step in the right direction. Trade Crawford while he's hot and before his performance starts sliding, (if you are a Knicks fan you know what i mean, i love Crawford but he has horrible shot selection and soon enough his shooting % will drop). Harrington's contract runs up just in time for them to make a serious play for lebron, wade or even bosh. Now the Knicks have a big, powerful starting lineup and a rising star in Wilson Chandler. My only concern is that we are wearing thin on guards. I like Duhon but he's not a top notch player, yet. After him who is left....Robinson, Roberson and that hamburger Mardy Collins. Richardson is going to have to move permanently to a #2 which is good b/c he's a decent shooter but an awful defender. Im just wondering if this means marbury gets activated....hopefully not.
- SpinAlley, on 11/21/2008, -1/+3Looks like Anthony Morrow just lost value in fantasy leagues. =/
- acwoo, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2It's all about Salary Cap space. Neither team is going to be better for this.
- krahzee, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2http://www.realgm.com/src_freeagents/2010/
Holy *****! The Knicks are going to get insanely good in 2010. They can pick up any two for max deals as it stands right now.
Highlights: Kobe, Pierce, Wade. James, Bosh, and on. So much talent, and they will be able to sign TWO max money players as of right now. As Stephan A said, it's a hell of a lot easier to recruit James if you can tell him you also plan to get Wade, for example. Plus you keep a David Lee and draft in a good position the next two years and you have a very good team. - soloredd, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2As a lifelong Warriors fan, this is fantastic. Chris Mullin is actually going after players instead of letting them walk away. Getting Crawford for Al is a steal no matter how this plays out. Al sat the bench most of the year and has fallen in love with shooting the 3. He really doesn't have a position to play in the league - at the 3 he can shoot but he's not versatile enough to either create a shot or defend, and at the 4 he cannot defend in the low post. With Crawford, we get a volume shoot with a drop on the defensive end - but really, that's nothing new for the Ws. When Monta Ellis comes back, look at this - Ellis, Crawford, Jackson, Maggette, and Biedrins. What a starting five! And then you have Buike and A-Mo coming off the bench.
And I wouldn't worry too much about A-Mo losing time. The more we can utilize the bench, the better. Jack is playing like 44 minutes a game (too much!) and if Maggette gets hurt again, we need the depth. I just cannot wait for Monta to get back now! - bloggerjul, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2I'm just happy that Basketball articles are making it to the front page (even though it started with articles about Mark Cuban)...
- bigtimslim, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2I agree. As a warriors fan, I am very happy with this.
- phydeaux70, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2I didn't say that I didn't care about the trade, it's about time that New York unloaded some of it's people. What I said is that I don't care why the players are unhappy where they are....aren't they pampered enough?
- whorunbartertwn, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2Crawford wasn't a Mike D type player, plain and simple. Coach D has never been fond of guards who generate their own offense off the dribble, he likes pick and roll fundamentals types.
- inactive, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2Forget Brooklyn.
- phydeaux70, on 11/21/2008, -7/+8As if I should care why multi-millionaire basketball players are unhappy.
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -1/+2Thank god Crawford's out of NY.
- Wildthing, on 11/22/2008, -1/+2It's digg, which started out as a technology site, which attracted nerds. I guess the stereotype goes that nerds don't care about sports much.
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1Right there with you, man. Good point.
- whorunbartertwn, on 11/22/2008, -1/+1Yes caring enough to type in a little code to tell everyone you don't care.
- 7duidotcom, on 11/21/2008, -1/+1what a good deal. I would go for it.
- abhi2223, on 11/21/2008, -3/+2King James is gonna resign with the Cavs in 2010
