- EtotheZ, on 10/12/2007, -3/+37Buried for inaccuracy: everyone knows the Monstars are the world's most Dangerous Basketball Team
- coolian, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14The Hoyas are history, mate.
- bobcrotch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8The Portland Trailblazers?
Oh Dangerous, not felons, whoops! - XISUPERMANIX, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Come on think logical. chainsaws are too heavy to carry they obviously used hatchets.
- neotheone011, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7One of the most biased reports about college b-ball
- Wailord, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6And thus, the story ends.
- inv1c7u5, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5is everyone forgetting about AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE COLON MOVIE FILM FOR THEATRES?!?!?!?!?
cmon, thats gonna hit like... 1... million dollars!... maybe... - fober, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Well that was a nice little flashback.
- drlha, on 10/12/2007, -6/+9Most Dangerous? What do they do, attack the opposition with chainsaws? Or is this just some silly hyperbole about a College Basketball team who are doing well?
- tolbs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5he's referring to the hoya's loss to Ohio State on saturday for anyone who hasn't been paying attention to college basketball the last month.
- ATH025, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Sigh, I was actually hoping for a basketball team that was actually dangerous to play against, not just skilled.
:( - Mackofalltrades, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Lets see them take on the Globetrotters.
- BamaStangGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I played Basketball and Baseball with Johnathan Wallace growing up and graduated with him. Good guy and a great athlete. Very awesome to watch him play on ESPN.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Before everyone starts referring to the article as outdated and inaccurate, note that it's really about John Thompson JUNIOR's Georgetown squads of the 1980s, not John Thompson III's current team.
- BlinderBomber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2cruised? Yeah, I'd call two double-deficit comebacks against opponents "cruising" for sure...
- dancenhance, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Go Florida! Lame article!
- legendxx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3in other news, noone cares
- fober, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3"But when it comes to scaring the bejesus out of the opposition, Jeff Green, Roy Hibbert, Patrick Ewing Jr., and Co. will never compare to the Georgetown teams of the 1980s."
Wrong Hoyas team. RTFA. - Khojigybarra, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3They didn't just beat them. OSU played terribly for a #1 ranked team (bracket and AP wise), yet they cruised through to the championship (edit: game). I guess dangerous would be getting 2 fouls on Oden in the first couple of minutes, but that's about it. Respect the program, dont like the Digg or the phrase (most dangerous team).
- troymcdavis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2You could always play Duke University and take a cheap shot to the face like Tyler Hansbrough did.
(For those who didn't follow, Hansbrough's nose was broken by a Gerald Henderson punch to the face with 20 seconds left in their final game of the regular season. Hansbrough had to wear a mask through the entire conference tournament and two games into the NCAA Tournament.) - patman1929, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3If they're so dangerous then how come the buckeyes beat them?
- Pottersquash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wow, if theres ever proof that diggers dont read articles they comment on... yet they want they want Read the Bill Acts how bout Read the Article Rules applied to diggers. Before you comment, read the article.
- fuelvolts, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4::golf clap::
- capitoldot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No worries. The Hoyas will be back. Thankfully they represent teams other than the usual set of NCAA media darlings. It cracked me up that even though they both lost, UNC and Duke were both given cozy media coverage by way of fluffy mini docs. It seems that viewers just cant get enough of the same boring stories from the same boring schools The minute a new comer steps one foot into the inner sanctum of collegiate tournament play, much less a black-led team, we have to find some reason to undermine the talent on the court. I have repeatedly heard "they got lucky" or "the other team choked" when it comes to Georgetown playing good solid basketball, can't help but think that there are some unchecked issues with some basketball fans. The white-boys just cant let go I guess.
HOYA SAXA! - Sizzor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Georgetown? They couldn't even beat Syracuse.
- osbjmg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You punch with fists right? Just checking, cool.
- cbambrick, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2ah ***** you georgetown... friday you reject me & saturday you ***** up my bracket
- Cutkomp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hmm... you can't just put 'world's most dangerous' and 'gold standard' in the same blurb like that. To further fuel the flames the post is about Georgetown and that fear is next! Are you a Jesuit Temporal Coadjutor? Oh c'mon I'm just playin', brother. Haha.
- chazzbro, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Imagine what Ohio State would have been done to Georgetown if their 3-point shots had been dropping, like they have most of the year.
Georgetown is dangerous...but Ohio State ain't nuthin to sneeze at, either.
Go Bucks! (game tip in 35 mins!) - gogog0, on 10/12/2007, -5/+5a bit late there
- scomartha, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Unbelievable! But I'm not surpised.
- pledomobil, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Awesome. I was waiting for this for a very long time...

NUFF SAID!!! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1I thought there was going to be an article on some prison yard basketball team who throw knives through the hoop. I'm very disappointed.
- InfinitySnatch, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2This article told me to tell you that white kids suck at basketball.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2But you gotta respect what Joaquin Noah is doing for Women's Basketball.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2I thought that by "Dangerous", you mean that there was a basketball team that used actual weapons during the game. Based on some of the people that are on the court these days, I'm sure that wouldn't be much of a stretch.
Lame

What is Digg?
