/unexpected - macjaeh, on 03/22/2009, -1/+4No UConn?
- RyGiL, on 03/22/2009, -1/+3Sooooo... is there an actual link to the list? Unless I'm blind, ABC just mentions 3 or 4 teams and their positions on the list and doesn't provide an actual link the to list. Then again, I'm probably just blind.
- zacattac50, on 03/22/2009, -3/+4these comments are stupid. at least college basketball isn't a one-man show. most of the kids actually care about basketball and play hard because they want to win, not so that they can earn a couple extra million a year.
- du1834, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1Nice to know Jordan made roughly the same amount his final year in Chicago as the Tarheels did this past year as the #1 team.
- walruspanzer, on 03/22/2009, -1/+1Because, aside from this season, and correct me if I am wrong but I believe Kentucky is the winning-est program in all NCAA basketball.
- HOWLAN, on 03/23/2009, -1/+1On one hand I feel like the kids get jipped because of all the money that is made on their talent; but then again, they are getting a totally free education from, most likely, a prestigious university. Hmm...
ABC is bitter because they didn't get the contract! - macjaeh, on 03/23/2009, -1/+1Not a dime back.
- larrimer7, on 03/23/2009, -1/+1My best advice to you......shut up!
- aldoyle, on 03/22/2009, -1/+1I'm not sure which university you attend, but I've never heard of anyone really being distracted from their learning due to a basketball player in the classroom. Maybe it's more an issue with you.
- TheScogg, on 03/23/2009, -1/+0Here's a Fun Fact. You can start off at #2 University of Kentucky in Lexington, drive to #3 University of Louisville, and then up to #4 Indiana University in Bloomington. The total distance is only 179 miles. It's even shorter as the crow flies. I grew up in Louisville and college basketball was a BIG deal The day after a UofL vs. UofK game, people didn't talk about the game unless they wanted to start a heated argument with somebody who rooted for the other team. And nobody really watches the NBA that closely here. They'd be able to tell you a good starting lineup of their instate rivals before they could name a probable starting lineup of any NBA team.
- sleeknerve, on 03/22/2009, -2/+1how is 25.4 greater than 25.9?
- walruspanzer, on 03/22/2009, -5/+2Kentucky should be #1, NC #2.
Here's the list.

- partrow, on 03/22/2009, -7/+2None of them are even worthwhile. Remove moneymaking sports from academic schools, and set them up in schools designed to promote sports and train athletes and entertainers instead.
Leave the academic schools to what they are there for - academics and preparing young people for their careers using their heads. Let them work free of the moneygrubbing entertainment that diminishes and degrades their education and brings non-academically inclined people into their classrooms to distract them and slow down their classes. - kspanks04, on 03/22/2009, -12/+2BTFU
- inactive, on 03/22/2009, -13/+3Yawn
- cubicledrone, on 03/22/2009, -12/+1If the refs called traveling, three-second violations and carrying the ball, NCAA basketball would be about as exciting as watching cars rust. At least in hockey the refs call the game according to the rules, not according to how hard you're trying to imitate Jordan.
- Misinformant, on 03/22/2009, -17/+5It's a trick question. They're all tied for last because college hoops are worthless.
- BobDle, on 03/22/2009, -17/+5***** basketball.
