- slunktoday, on 07/21/2009, -1/+3I think Reggie is on the ball here. In my experience, most sports bloggers don't know what they're talking about, and merely write articles that reflect popular opinion or are needlessly inflamatory. The amount of sports bloggers who write well-supported, carefully articulated and thought provoking articles is extremely small compared to the total number of sports bloggers.
I also like how the sports blogger writing about this points to the growth of the sports blogosphere as proof that they know what they're talking about. That's like saying "Nickelback writes good music...just look at the growth in their record sales". - RealmDown, on 07/21/2009, -0/+2The rest of us think you deserve being that happy.

- inactive, on 07/21/2009, -0/+1I'm not going to defend the bloggers, but I will say that the guys on ESPN are full of it most of the time:
"I'm expecting the blue team to go out and play a solid game. They've averaged 12.2 offensive boards and I'm really expecting them to crash the boards tonight. Watch out for Superstar Joe, he's been hot."
yada yada yada - yeeaauuh, on 07/21/2009, -2/+3Sports bloggers think Reggie Theus was a weak ball player.Guess the feelings mutual.
- rwbrinso, on 07/21/2009, -0/+1And when he says "sports bloggers" he means "Tom Ziller" (http://sactownroyalty.com)
- X9001, on 07/21/2009, -0/+1Sports?
- 4AntiStupid, on 07/21/2009, -0/+0It is hard to write about something as complex and technical as throwing a ball around.
