- u4ik, on 01/10/2009, -0/+14Oh, ok. He was legally drunk. I guess there wasn't a problem. Now if he'd been illegally drunk, that's a whole different story.
- cdhill, on 01/09/2009, -0/+11Not to imply anything is funny about drunk driving, but it's pretty hysterical where he was going in such a hurry that he ran that stop sign.
- JaskulaR, on 01/10/2009, -1/+12"Well if it's legal, what's the ***** problem?"
- oboshoe, on 01/10/2009, -0/+10Yep. One more drink and he probably would have been illegally drunk.
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -2/+12Leave that retarded man alone!
- inactive, on 01/10/2009, -0/+9I was a limo driver for Charles Barkley for a couple of days. He's one of the nicest guys there is. At one place that we just dropped by, he ened up staying for over an hour signing autographs. He waited until every last one was signed, then stayed a bit longer to chat with fans.
Later, he invited me to come drinking with he and some friends. I got so drunk, we had to call another driver to pick us up. I don't have that job anymore. - replaysMike, on 01/09/2009, -0/+8Give that man any test and he'll knock the needle off the top. He's like superman, but with huge nuts.
- dman24752, on 01/10/2009, -2/+9Give the man a break. He made a mistake, he was honest about it (really honest if you read some of the other reports), and he didn't try to fool around. Let the legal process run its course and he should be allowed to do what he was doing before.
- LemonChicken, on 01/10/2009, -0/+5No. That's *****. When you drink and drive, you endanger the lives of yourself and everyone on the road. And it's not like Barkley doesn't have the money to pay for a cab (or, *****, a limo).
It is one of THE MOST irresponsible things a person can do, let alone a grown man. - drunkenoaf, on 01/10/2009, -0/+5Legally drunk? But drunkenness is subjective; if you're really used to drink you could have a-- blood alcohol level over the legal limit for being in charge of a vehicle-- but not be drunk. Do you think they meant "blood alcohol level was over the legal limit for being in charge of a vehicle"

- Klak, on 01/10/2009, -0/+4not a role model.
- oboshoe, on 01/10/2009, -0/+3And then the other driver got wasted too, so we called a 3rd driver.....
- acegi, on 01/10/2009, -0/+3ah, good ol' GC. it was bound to come up.
- irvman21, on 01/10/2009, -0/+3I haven't listened to a word Barkley has said since he somehow got away with saying "That's why I hate white people." without getting hardly any backlash for it.
- blackcloud333, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2I like shiny things made by Apple.
- sinurgy, on 01/10/2009, -2/+4Who ***** cares? People today treat a DUI like a child molestation case or something. I'm more likely to get hit by some teenage girl driving and texting her friends than I am a drunk driver.
I'm sure I'll get dugg down but seriously, just think about it for a second. How many people do you think drive with a BAC that is technically over the legal limit, now how many of those people get into an accident? If drinking and driving were anywhere near as dangerous as people like to make it out to be, most downtown bar areas would be a morgue every weekend. I used to frequent Old Town Scottsdale (one of the premiere party destinations in the US) and I never saw a single accident, yet I guarantee you a gross majority of the drivers around me were over the legal limit.
I'm not saying people should get hammered and drive but clearly there is a lot of sensationalism going on thanks to groups like MADD! - pushforpeace, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2rebound!

- inactive, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2when i drive home drunk i'm ***** careful because i don't want to kill myself, others or get ***** by the police
you could say i am a more cautious driver - inactive, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2Sorry, this is the best I can do:
http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/6231/dsc03294xq ... - Borgcube636, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2Lieutenant Barkley? Isn't he supposed to be on the Enterprise?
- inactive, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2i like charles barkley's curious pupils
- LemonChicken, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2When you are drunk, you underestimate how drunk you really are (or for instance, how well you can drive). There has to be a cut off somewhere, and they are right to make it lower than higher.
- Barackalypse, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2You'd think these rich athletes/celebrities would just hire a damn driver, it would avoid 90% of their legal hassles.
- u4ik, on 01/10/2009, -1/+2Pics, didn't happen, etc.
- inactive, on 01/10/2009, -2/+3"Drink-driving"
sponsored by Maltesers. - jaywag, on 01/10/2009, -1/+2If you've built up a high enough tolerance for alcohol, some people with a BAC of 0.149 can drive better than others who've never touched alcohol in their lives.
- AGONYTUESDAY, on 01/10/2009, -2/+3OH MY GOD SOMEONE FAMOUS GOT ARRESTED FOR DRUNK DRIVING THIS CLEARLY IS FRONT PAGE NEWS.
honestly, people. no one cares, so don't digg it. - SaabiMeister, on 01/10/2009, -0/+1If he was legally drunk, why was he arrested?
- hutch1973, on 01/10/2009, -1/+2At least he saved getting busted with the young girl giving him oral favors until he pursues his dreams of public office.
