- slaystench, on 06/07/2009, -4/+28Yeah, Lebron blew it. 38 pts ppg.
- bigthree, on 06/07/2009, -1/+20nice job by nike making good out of Lebron sitting on his couch this week
- stormgren, on 06/06/2009, -2/+21Like most of the US, you didn't watch the Cavs season. I did. I watched every game. The Cavs were a great team. They did NOT just "go to Lebron" the whole season. What you are saying is entirely untrue.
The trouble was the matchups. The Cavs are small and have a weak inside presence. The Magic couldn't have been constructed better to take that sort of team apart.
I expect the Cavs to make a big push for a physical big man in the off-season. That's really the only person we need. Seriously. - ZonGuy, on 06/07/2009, -6/+18LeBron needs to get over himself. So does ESPN, the NBA, and the fans who drink the Kool-Aid. Yes he's a crazy ball player/athlete, but his personality is not intriguing whatsoever. Therefore, please stop cramming his ego and uneducated persona down my throat.
- lamiaconfitor, on 06/07/2009, -3/+14I don't even care enough to "hate" or be fanatically devoted to Lebron, this was hilarious.
- Gregus1032, on 06/07/2009, -1/+9There is no Lebron in Team.
- sf49rox, on 06/07/2009, -2/+7The Rose-James combination would be deadlier than Stockton-Malone.
- ZonGuy, on 06/08/2009, -0/+5I don't find him intelligent, funny, or a good actor. This has nothing to do with my Cheerios.
- mntalkase, on 06/07/2009, -0/+3Never mind the fact that Orlando beat them 2 out of 3 games during the regular season.
- staticfire, on 06/08/2009, -0/+4I can not digg you up enough times
- jamdownboi, on 06/07/2009, -4/+7Yous a hater dawg!! But on a serious note, if you actually watched a game you would see there isn't much BS, aside from officiating blunders occasionally. Lebron is talented, but more than that he is hard working. With that being said I would like to not cast any shadows on the other NBA Stars that aren't as highlighted in the media, because they too are hard workers. I say just watch the game, and enjoy it for what it is. GO HEAT!!!
- sneezefart, on 06/07/2009, -0/+3The lack of championship rings indicates that this combination (Stockton-Malone) was not deadly.
- ST0N3, on 06/07/2009, -7/+10please bring lebron to chicago!
- mntalkase, on 06/07/2009, -0/+3Her?
- shujin, on 06/07/2009, -1/+4Anyone else find the cutting of the voices annoying?
- johndatserakis, on 06/07/2009, -1/+4as much as I'd hate to see it as a Celtics fan, if Lebron went to Chicago they would dominate
- SifooD, on 06/07/2009, -0/+3Mrs. Lewis's son. Perhaps Rashard Lewis's son?
- slaystench, on 06/07/2009, -2/+4No *****, but everyone puts all of the blame on him for the loss. Most of his team sucked that series.
- mattmollysdad, on 06/06/2009, -3/+5sorry Kobe... not Koby... it was way early out here n i had only 2 hours of sleep
- inactive, on 06/07/2009, -1/+3way to copy and paste from the comments on the webpage douche.
- crazytucker, on 06/07/2009, -0/+2He will be going to NY
- vammirato, on 06/07/2009, -5/+7ZonGuy and jaredongie have it down right...watch the games, enjoy the games but quit promoting these players like they _are_ the game as opposed to merely players _in_ the game.
People _worship_ him because he plays a game...a GAME...one badly blown knee and in two years, we won't care what LeBron opinions is on anything.
This is why I don't watch the NBA until the finals: over-paid prima-donnas that don't play hard except for the last 5-10 minutes if it is close (in the regular season). - mauleriscool, on 06/07/2009, -0/+2They have to let ben gordon go if they want a chance for the labron lottery.
- heytomkat, on 06/07/2009, -6/+8I don't understand all the hatorade about Lebron not shaking the Magic's hands. I understand it was not sportsman like but here is a 24 year old kid who takes more interviews, does more press, is easily the best teammate and friendliest most marketable guy in the NBA and when he does on thing that shows he is a little upset everyone turns on him.
How about a little empathy?
also how can you hate a guy who averages 38 7 and 9 for the a playoff series? - Jaserr83, on 06/07/2009, -2/+4As the face of the league he should act like a leader whether he wins or not. If he truly wants to be like the next Jordan, he can't skip a press conference after a lost and let Mo Williams answer questions from the press on why they lost a series.
- HamSandwich, on 06/07/2009, -1/+3The Cavs, at times, are a great team. They tore through the regular season. They destroyed the Pistons in the first round. Then, they made the Hawks look like a second-rate High School team.
The problem is, when they faced Orlando... they tried to put the entire game on Lebron's back. How'd that work? If it wasn't for that miracle shot in game 2, they would've gotten swept by the Magic.
Lebron isn't a leader yet. During the Magic series, he wasn't yelling at this teammeates, he wasn't trying to get them into the game. He seemed content to let his entire team fail while he single handedly won the game. If that doesn't change, he's never going to win a ring. - sneezefart, on 06/07/2009, -0/+2When it comes down to it, it is just a game. Part of playing is to show respect for opponents by shaking hands. It was inexcusable for LeBron not to shake hands.
- ObieOne, on 06/07/2009, -0/+2exactly.
also @ "how can you hate a guy who averages 38, 7 & 9".
Kick rocks with that, Kobe puts up 81 points and Vince Carter says that's a "bad example for children"
**** outta here with that.
Kobe does things way more incredible than Lebron non stop and continues to get hated, I'm glad Lebron is finallly starting to feel some of the wrath from his actions. - ZeeZee2k, on 06/07/2009, -0/+2Wade is going to Chicago, LeBron will join D'Antoni in New York.
- sneezefart, on 06/07/2009, -0/+2I think they were clearly out-coached by Stan VanGundy. Mike Brown just sounds like an idiot in any interview I've seen him in. I strongly believe that for a young talented player like LeBron, you need a coach who has won NBA championships. I think he would work well under Pat Riley.
- FcukAllYall, on 06/07/2009, -0/+1u do know what u said was completely stupid right?
- completED711, on 06/07/2009, -0/+1That's like saying promoting politions is overrated because they are politics, besides of being people in politics.
People round here worship Obama, I reckon, and he isn't "politics," by your logic he's just a polition. Let basketball fans pick their poison, let them worship the best in the game. - Gregus1032, on 06/07/2009, -1/+2people don't "worship" because he plays a game. they "worship" him because he's entertaining.
- pt4117, on 06/07/2009, -0/+1Cause points per game is the most important thing? When Kobe takes a lot of shots his team doesn't do as well. When Jordan was doing all of the scoring he didn't win anything. It's about creating shots for your teammates.
They did so well in the regular season because Lebron wasn't doing everything. - 1longtime, on 06/07/2009, -0/+1[edit] *almost* 40 points per game, which is still freaking amazing.
- MattZed, on 06/07/2009, -0/+1The same NHL that is going through the court system in Arizona to see if the Coyotes can be bought by Jim Balsillie?
They have their ***** as well, but SportsCenter (US) doesn't cover it because the NBA playoffs are on, but SportsCentre (CAN) is always covering it, along with most other sports media in Toronto. - slaystench, on 06/07/2009, -0/+1His teammates were making shots in the regular season also.
- rjc5056, on 06/07/2009, -0/+1with My Cousin Skeeter apparently...
- MicrosoftAccess, on 06/07/2009, -2/+3You don't need to put "pts ppg"
- ValDeV, on 06/07/2009, -0/+1Who?
- emot1con, on 06/07/2009, -0/+1dugg for Arrested Development reference.
- Tichondrius74, on 06/07/2009, -1/+1http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH16SWQNh8o
- 1longtime, on 06/07/2009, -1/+1I can't figure out what you're saying... "believe the crap around his say"? I don't understand...
Anyway, LeBron averaged more than 40 pts per game during the playoffs, so I can't hate on him. Cleveland's bench was outscored by a multiple of 3 by Orlando. If you want to see who blew it, look right there. Like you said, no one wins championships without being surrounded by great players, and that includes the bench. - inactive, on 06/09/2009, -2/+2Hilarious commercial! One of the Top 10 best all time.
- sneezefart, on 06/07/2009, -0/+0I'm sorry, I don't have Versus. Oh wait the finals are on NBC.
