- SkinnerBox, on 05/06/2008, -0/+12I would do this just so I could tell people at dinner parties, "Yeah, I was in the 2008 NBA draft but I went undrafted."
- lostradamus, on 05/07/2008, -0/+5With the 17th pick of the 2008 NBA draft the Toronto Raptors select....
- AManOfLOP33, on 05/07/2008, -0/+1How have I never thought of doing this before...
- kelvin4313, on 05/07/2008, -0/+0ah ha,i will support u from china
- Miamisun, on 05/07/2008, -0/+4Why didn't I think of this ;( That is sheer awesomeness. For the rest of his life he can say he went undrafted by the NBA. Heck maybe he can even score a tryout with a team now. Hell maybe there are even scouts looking into him.
- curiousg1414, on 05/07/2008, -0/+1if i was the gm of the indiana pacers (who have the worst attendance record), I would draft this guy in the 2nd round as a publicity stunt just to attract more attention and ppl to the games.
- migrainewalking, on 05/07/2008, -1/+0michael jordan would draft him... or isiah. whoever drafts first.
- binkitybonk, on 05/08/2008, -0/+4i rather wish the submitter linked to the homepage instead, which reads, "As a 5'8" 130 pound Caucasian, I am the perfect candidate for professional basketball. Also, I do not play basketball."
- sfrench, on 05/08/2008, -0/+1Years ago there was somebody who sent a resume and cover letter to the Seattle Mariners wanting to be their third baseman. I want to harness the power of the internets to surface this story, since my google-fu has failed me thus far at turning it up.
- senixon, on 05/08/2008, -0/+2If I owned a team, I would pick him and make him workout with the rest of the guys. He would be sorry he ever learned to spell NBA ;-/ --- not to mention all the publicity my team would get from signing this guy.
- Daemon9, on 05/09/2008, -0/+0Even though your team would select him in the draft, he would still be able to choose to accept a contract that your team would have to provide in order to sign him.
- Ghetro, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Hey, at least the team at his school, (which he admittedly wasn't on), won the D3 championship this year
