- azwethinkweizm, on 11/19/2008, -0/+6My Dallas Mavericks are sucking dick right now so I think that's the real reason he wants out.
This Rick Carlisle guy who's our coach is completely ruining us. - protodon, on 11/19/2008, -1/+7For a second I thought this was about True Blood.
- AirBallistic, on 11/19/2008, -0/+5He just knows that the Mavs are not going to win the championship.
- miali1020, on 11/19/2008, -0/+4As a Mavs fan, although I would hate to see Stack go, I would love to see him in a coaching or front office positon
- bigtimslim, on 11/19/2008, -1/+4you are probably right. That is where good players go to die
- inactive, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3The man did this one time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vv2b6zXBJiE
- pyngthyngs, on 11/19/2008, -2/+4The Trailblazers would love to have you Jerry!!!
- whorunbartertwn, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2His game was based slashing to the rim, and as he's aged he's lost much of that advantage.
He never refined his game to include a more consistent outside shot to lean on or put in the hard work on the court to be the steady veteran defender type. Pretty much an inefficient streaky scorer at this point in his career. - cJeremy, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2he's gotta go! it's GERALD GREEN's TIME!
i wanna see that guy slash and dunk in games more! - Coercion, on 11/19/2008, -1/+3i'm a mavs fan. and quite honestly i'm kinda tired of the under underachieving. you would think this would be a great team on pen and paper. i think they should have kept devin harris. look what he'd doing for the nets already. jerry stackhouse is an amazing veteran i'd love to see him stay but he'd probably have a better chance with another team to win it all. imo they need to make a huge trade, probably move kidd or terry this year and if nothing changes at the earliest next season they need to start rebuilding
- FireandFlame, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2Damn I remember him playing For UNC and being one of the top draft picks... I feel old now.
- pyngthyngs, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1You might be right. Ginobili needs a backup a lot more these days.
- writer0213, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1What's new?! The season hasn't even started. He's toured around the NBA pretty well.
- inactive, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1the rockets could use him, mcgrady always getting hurt.
- eMximeR, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Well, Dick Vitale certainly loved it
- inactive, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Yep. SEASON FINALE SUNDAY!!!!
and now i'm depressed - bigtimslim, on 11/19/2008, -1/+1just once? this is the nba
- RC18, on 11/19/2008, -1/+1i see him going to san antonio
- whorunbartertwn, on 11/19/2008, -0/+0I don't know man Stack is pretty much a one dimensional player at this point, and his one dimension (scoring in bunches) he doesn't even do very efficiently anymore since relying on slashing doesn't age well with legs.
- vignesh227, on 11/19/2008, -0/+0Let him comeback to the eastern conference where he was da man back in '01...a 6th man like him for Cavs/Detroit/Nets would be great.
But if he wants to start... at his age... with his legs...stack WTF!!...are u serious ??? - sfcaptainrob, on 11/19/2008, -1/+1and then win a championship.
- bigtimslim, on 11/19/2008, -2/+1There are several teams around the league that he could still start for
- quomen, on 11/19/2008, -2/+1He's as old as *****.. Retire!
- whorunbartertwn, on 11/19/2008, -1/+0This isn't the video game, Stack plays in the NBA.
- redscofield, on 11/19/2008, -3/+2say it ain't so Jerry! he's been one of the best 6th men in the league... he's right, he hasn't gotten enough minutes... I'd hate to see him leave Dallas... he's a class act...
- D3ADBOLT, on 11/19/2008, -2/+1Jerry Stackhouse is still alive?
- Raphas, on 11/19/2008, -3/+1I love the NBA but why such a random topic ? In other news, ...
- jba68, on 11/19/2008, -6/+0buried, for basketball
