- IDIGTHEDIGG, on 04/28/2008, -2/+182He must have got Pargo confused with his wife
- knuvue, on 04/28/2008, -1/+73Bad foul by Kidd. Obviously a frustration foul, but in no way excusable because if Pargo hadn't gotten his hands down quickly he could have been severely injured.
- Scottievm, on 04/28/2008, -2/+67Which pixel was Jason Kidd?
- lawngnomes4pres, on 04/28/2008, -0/+49I was at this game, a good 1/4 of the crowd literally got up and left at this point.
- plarp, on 04/28/2008, -0/+45jason kid was simply making a metaphor for how the mavericks have let down their fans for the past 2 years in the playoffs.. please respect his artistic license
- silentdragoon, on 04/28/2008, -0/+30better quality -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJFjcJq0-rQ
- vanguardanon, on 04/28/2008, -3/+32Good call. I was happy to see Pargo immediately started clapping because he knew he was in Kidd's head. Leave the fighting to the people that know what they are doing, hockey players. :-)
- WhatsUpWithJack, on 04/28/2008, -0/+21Love the Mark Cuban "attaboy" ass slap near the end.
- darladoon, on 04/28/2008, -6/+26i fail to see a "flip"
- isaacand, on 04/28/2008, -4/+21stupid foul...kidds just frustrated because he sucks now
- cromulent742, on 04/28/2008, -2/+18well played sir
- inactive, on 04/28/2008, -2/+16He got sick and damn tired of Chris Paul flipping his ankles.
- inactive, on 04/28/2008, -0/+11Not because Kidd committed the foul, but because they knew without Kidd, the game was over. And it was, we got spanked at home by New Orleans, yet another shameful loss in this crappy Mavs season.
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 04/28/2008, -0/+11low?
- Couchy, on 04/28/2008, -11/+21People still watch hockey? LOL
People still watch baseball? LOL
People still watch football? LOL
People still watch soccer? LOL
People still make the worst jokes ever on digg? LOL - Aero1, on 04/28/2008, -1/+11as a nets fan, nothing makes me happier that Byron Scott is schooling Jason Kidd. I miss Byron coaching the nets. ***** kidd, im glad he took his 3 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, and 78 turnovers to the mavs.
- inactive, on 04/28/2008, -0/+9And look what Corey Butler did to Jannero's brother, Jeremy during a college game earlier this year!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=CldROcIg4bg - Couchy, on 04/28/2008, -0/+8Wow that is about as clearcut a flagrant 2 as you can get.
When I was watching the Raptors vs. Magic in game two I thought Turkoglu should have been ejected for this hard foul on Bosh but the refs deemed it a flagrant 1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEYBp1O4ks8 Looking at it after seeing it live it is seen that Turkoglu actually had his hand on the ball, but its questionable as to wether he used his elbow to push Bosh before touching the ball.
In Kidd's case, its a straight up ejection. - spidoman, on 04/28/2008, -0/+8yes that one pixely blur totally collided with that other pixely blur.
- SubaruPowah, on 04/28/2008, -0/+7Do a barrel roll!
- fictionalOne, on 04/28/2008, -1/+8Look on the bright side, you could have the best record of the season and get knocked out first round by the warriors. Oh wait, that did happen.
- inactive, on 04/28/2008, -0/+6Lern how to wr ite.
- worldsbestgamer, on 04/28/2008, -2/+8People are way to judgmental on this site and quick to jump on the first bandwagon they are presented with. Pargo has even said Kidd was doing his job and he was surprised he was ejected.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/basketball/n ...
"It was a hard foul," Pargo said. "The only thing he did was make a hard foul and not give up a layup. That's what he's supposed to do. I was a little surprised [Kidd was ejected]." - TripleAStacked, on 04/28/2008, -3/+9I hope he doesn't get suspended because i don't want the mavs fans to make excuses for another early exit!
- indigit4l, on 04/28/2008, -0/+6Mavs... so dissapointing
- stopple, on 04/28/2008, -0/+6Not a basketball fan, or a fan of either team, but it seems obvious to me this was just a hard foul. Kidd would have to have Neo like matrix powers to be able to plan grabbing the guy on the neck and shifting his weight forward to make him flip like that. He just did what any defender would do in a hard foul situation, grab something and pull. The fact he flipped was a total fluke.
- troyfoley, on 04/28/2008, -0/+5Bill Laimbeer, is that you?
- inactive, on 04/28/2008, -0/+4They can still pull this out, but Josh Howard needs to get his head out of his ass. If he is shotting 3-16, he needs to realize he is shooting too much. Dirk isn't getting the ball enough and he's being too passive, and Stackhouse has been terrible so far. I think they can pull it together and pull out a win in New Orleans, but they really need to make some mental changes.
- fxu1989, on 04/28/2008, -0/+4Boxers ?
- Couchy, on 04/28/2008, -0/+4Look I get you are sad you're getting old and Jordan and Bird are decades gone, they were great times and great games - I miss those Bulls vs. Jazz epic battles as well - but honestly you can't say there isn't quality basketball being played in todays league. I mean if you are gonna say theres a bunch of angry children running around the league, maybe I should remind you of 1977 when Kermit Washington broke Tomjanovich's face with a punch on court during a game. I mean get real man, stop livin in the past.
- abatch, on 04/28/2008, -2/+6Worst. Trade. Ever.
- gttim, on 04/28/2008, -1/+5He was just kidding!
- worldsbestgamer, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3It was the triple lindy.
- AnitaHummer, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3I believe that was his "does this floor look clean to you" defense that him and his wife have been drilling.
- shakbhaji, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3I wish I shared your optimism. :(
- Ericular, on 04/28/2008, -0/+31996 called. It wants its video quality back...
- shakbhaji, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3I hated this trade from the beginning. It was a dumb panic trade. How much are the Mavs missing Devin Harris now? Sure could've used his quickness against Paul. He would've been all over him.
- merdiesel, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3I think Hedo just forgot that Chris Bosh weighs about 70 pounds.
- twishart, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3The white one.
- Rendonsmug, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3Not the rangers, you have to have a glimmer of hope to be let down.
- worldsbestgamer, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3Or he was trying to draw a foul to stop an easy lay up like he is supposed to do.
- inactive, on 04/28/2008, -0/+2Not as much as this hit taken by Jenerro's brother, Jeremy, when he was thrown to the ground by Corey Butler earlier this year. Jeremy actually hits his head and is on the floor for minutes, AND the hit came when the game was essentially over:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=CldROcIg4bg - ScottMitchell, on 04/29/2008, -0/+2Hopefully Cuban will blow things up this offseason. And I mean BLOW THINGS UP. Get rid of Terry. Get rid of Howard. Get rid of Dirk. Get rid of Avery.
- neems25, on 04/28/2008, -0/+2yea but I'm not as emotionally involved with the Stars as i am with the Mavs and Cowboys. However, I do agree with Rendonsmug about the Rangers...If they do well, I'll consider myself lucky
- krolyat, on 04/28/2008, -2/+4I'm sure Kidd thought the ball was his head.
- sdwilly, on 04/28/2008, -0/+2Stars are doing well against San Jose.
- worldsbestgamer, on 04/28/2008, -1/+3Quite true. Pargo even said so, but popular opinion on this site is usually quite wrong.
- vanzan, on 04/28/2008, -0/+2Mavericks brought Kidd to help them win a championship, he couldn't make baskets so he started making fouls..
I think from now on, we will see the Mavericks performance get worse and worse. They have reached their peak in the last two years..they can't get any better..someone must be wrong..I feel bad for Dirk. - Tikisam, on 04/29/2008, -0/+2I lived in Phoenix when Kidd played there, and I remember him getting in trouble with the fuzz for beating his wife. This makes me worried about how bad that spousal abuse was.
Horay that Dallas will again fail to advance from the first round! -
