- KittySpark1es, on 07/10/2009, -1/+19If Nike had a smart marketing firm, they'd hold on to this footage and use it in a commercial. Show him getting dunked on, and then show him receiving the MVP award. Then say something to the affect that even MVP's aren't perfect.
This would be the first time the footage was released, and it would viraly get shown around so people can see LeBron getting dunked on.

- minorthreat, on 07/11/2009, -0/+13it wasn't a big deal until James made sure no one saw it. It would have been hyped for 36 hours or so among fans and noone else would have cared. Now James has made the issue much bigger and effectivley added all this hype around it. Since no one can see the dunk, which is probably half-assed, it will remain a legend where we are all picturing this kid doing a windmill from the free throw line.

The steel and break away is impressive, the dunk is just okay. In the set of videos where someone has been "dunked on", that video doesn't even land on the radar, really.

Nike is probably gonna destroy those tapes just to save LeBron's image. He needs to man up and accept that he got dunked on.
