How can anyone root for Kobe Bryant?
pointlessbanter.net — Kobe Bryant is a combination of every kid you hated playing sports with while growing up. How can anyone root for this piece of crap?

- PokerVixen, on 06/05/2008, -1/+5That doesn't justify how much he's disliked. You can be the best and still be well liked. There are lots of former NBA stars that proved that. Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Magic Johnson --- all from that era of b-ball when people use to watch and enjoy the game.

He ran one of the most successful coaches in the history of the NBA off the team - luckily for Kobe and the Lakers Phil returned or they would still be the suck - he wanted to win without Shaq but they had to bring in Gasol or whatever his name is to help him out. Great b-ball player but terrible team player.

Kobe even said he doesn't want to be the 'next' Jordan, he wants to be the 'next' Kobe Bryant. Great, maybe the next Kobe can keep his dick in his shorts.
A lot of people might want to PLAY like Kobe, but many more wanted to BE like Mike.

Shaq should still be a Laker today. And another thing - I loved Eddie Jones. In fact, Eddie Jones was the exact opposite of Kobe. Even though Eddie was not a scorer like Kobe, he could score. He did the dirty stuff. He played D. He got boards. He ran the court full speed to set up plays. He made it so the Lakers could run their plays. He did anything they asked of him. And Kobe? It's the exact opposite.
I hope Kobe doesn't win jack *****. In fact I hope we lose until he's gone. Go Celtics. You got some classy guys on your team and I for one am envious.
