- Wangarang, on 04/30/2008, -2/+17I'm from Houston and this is a reason why we are called "Clutch City".
Honestly, it's kind of nerve-racking. - fissionignition, on 04/30/2008, -3/+13Who wants to sex Mutumbo? If they can make it out of the first round, I want to sex Mutumbo...
- TexasShiv, on 04/30/2008, -2/+11This is one of the most flawed logics in sports. You sir, are an idiot.
- ROW3BO4T, on 04/30/2008, -2/+10Hey don't forget that the Rockets are 2-2 at Utah, and now that Alston is healthy, the Rockets are going to play at least one more home game before this is over.
- 311chaos, on 04/30/2008, -4/+11The Jazz SUCKED last game. I think that they will finish the series up on Friday. The Jazz will then be crushed by the Lakers.
- canewediggit, on 04/30/2008, -1/+8quiet, you!
- matyrice08, on 04/30/2008, -2/+8Ginobili
- harrison5394, on 04/30/2008, -3/+8It doesn't matter because either way, the Lakers are waiting...
- senorpuerco, on 04/30/2008, -0/+5Yeah, they sucked. But don't forget the Rockets played fantastic. After the first two games of this series without Rafer Alston, it was easy to forget that this is a really good team, and they are no one to be overlooked. I think the Jazz forgot that. I certainly did.
- Omar12, on 04/30/2008, -0/+5The Western Conference (and the Atlanta Hawks) are making this years NBA Playoffs worth watching. The rest of the rounds in the West are going to be really good match ups.
- DarthTurducken, on 04/30/2008, -1/+5Oh, there will be a day of reckoning for you, non-believer! A totalling of sums and a snapping of necks, and you will count yourself among the damned!
- canewediggit, on 04/30/2008, -0/+4you mean the games the rockets were missing their starting point guard? or do you mean that the jazz didn't have the worst road record of the western conference playoff teams?
try paying attention - stafa786, on 04/30/2008, -2/+6The Houston Rockets winning 22 straight was no fluke. They even did it without Ming. However, the playoffs are a completely different story. I think they got lucky over the over confident Jazz. I hope that McGrady can finally get out of the first round, but I don't think it will be this year. Utah will strike back hard at home (37-4 in regular season) next game and end the series.
- stafa786, on 04/30/2008, -0/+4The Jazz will not be crushed by the Lakers. It will be a very close series. The Jazz match up very well against the Lakers and are very capable of beating them. They will need a way of containing Kobe though. They have struggled with that in the past. And when I say containing him I mean to not let him socre more than 30.
- zeroman1890, on 04/30/2008, -3/+7Let’s hope Tracy can shut up all the critics and get out of the first round, then loses in 4 games to the Lakers.
- Chrino, on 04/30/2008, -1/+4For me, the word "flop" is synonymous with Ginobili. He's like a fish on land.
- reynolds3g, on 04/30/2008, -0/+3I definitely would have to second that statement. If the Jazz truly feel that way, then they are toast. You can't take games off in the playoffs. The Jazz had the Rockets on the ropes, now the Rockets have new life.
- paulvq, on 04/30/2008, -1/+4If you don't like it, don't read it or comment on it. It's really that simple.

simple, huh? - funknjunk, on 04/30/2008, -6/+9Kirilenko is the worst flopper ever.
- kuwan, on 04/30/2008, -0/+3Actually the Jazz haven't played well in games 3, and 4 either and look at what happened: they nearly won game 3 and won game 4. Game 5 was their worst performance of the entire season, they just didn't even show up to play. Granted, in game 5 the Rockets played their very best game of the series, but the Jazz don't have to play at their best to beat the Rockets. I'm just hoping that after 3 bad games (one of which they won) that the Jazz will finally decide to wake up and show up to game 6 and play like they've played for most of the season. If the do then they could easily blow out the Rockets.
They'd really better wake up soon because they can get by with below average games against Houston, but if they make it to the 2nd round against the Lakers they'll get destroyed if they keep playing like they have the last 3 games. If they do wake up and start playing well then it could be a very competitive series against the Lakers. - rolii, on 05/01/2008, -0/+2It's you. GO ROCKETS!
- jkr801, on 04/30/2008, -5/+7Give it up Houston you have no chance against Lakers at least Jazz do

simple. - plandcl, on 04/30/2008, -3/+4Just as predicted before the series started. The JAZZ will win it in six.
- Wangarang, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1We were in the World Series not long back. Didn't win it though :(
- tapezor, on 05/01/2008, -1/+2I think your forgot that the Jazz LOST the regular season series against the Lakers, while Houston WON the regular season series against the Lakers. So I wouldn't necessarily say the Jazz have a better chance.
- jkr801, on 04/30/2008, -2/+3So clutch last year......
- tapezor, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1T-mac isn't doing good at all, but I would have to say boozer's offense has been lacking even more. He is averaging 5 pts less, less blocks, less steals, less rebounds, and more turnovers. His free throw & field goal percentages have both gone down all while playing more minutes per game. Great playoff stats for your star! At least t-mac has an excuse... he is injured (but when is he not injured).
- harrison5394, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1Utah will definitely be the tougher team for the Lakers. News is that Ariza will be back soon for the Lakers, which will hopefully help them to better contain Williams or Kirilenko.
- DeQuinceysDiet, on 04/30/2008, -1/+2The Jazz can't win on the road? What, except for Games one AND two?
Dope. - DeQuinceysDiet, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1I think Utah might match up well with LAL - Kirilenko on Odom, Okur/Boozer on Gasol...Deron will tear up Fisher and Kobe will tear up Brewer.
The Lakers are looking awesome, however, I'll admit - 311chaos, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1They are a good team, I wasn't trying to take anything away from them. The Jazz couldn't make a shot close to the basket to save their lives. On top of that they just started shooting jump shots each time down the court. The Jazz SUCKED and the Rockets played well.
- tapezor, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1It all depends on Houston's injuries. Battier can barely walk, yet he still plays. Landry got a tooth knocked out and a broken nose from boozer. And T-mac is infini-injured, this time it just happens to be his shoulder. Rafer still has problems with his hamstring as well. If the Rockets are feeling in good condition, they will roll right past the Jazz. If they feel the pain and start hesitating on offense and defense then there is little to stop the Jazz from easily winning game 6 at home. Also you forget that they play bad BECAUSE of Houston. They are the 2nd BEST rated defense int he NBA. (Jazz is 2nd Best offensive team)
- DeQuinceysDiet, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1Boozer ain't Utah's star. Deron is, of course. Boozer is a mighty flawed player, no doubt.
- SnuKs, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1I feel bad for T-Mac. The west is totally stacked this year and his team has to deal with injuries a lot of their allstars. They should give him a pass this year.
- onlinetick, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1Give the Rockets Rafer Alston for the first 2 games of the series, and this weries would look entirely different now. Either way, I still think they got a chance to pull this out.
- twinprism, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1Yeah, I'm going to load a random executable claiming to be a codec to watch your video. I can't believe I even clicked on the link.
- Bukowsky, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1hehe... you're welcome :)
- alvination, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1I loathe the Jazz from all the way back to the 90s. Blow up plz.
- SnuKs, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1Yea because the Lakers did the same thing to Denver =P
Also risking player injury, giving the rockets some momentum, reducing rest before the next series, and not to mention extending rest for the Lakers is beneficial. Real teams closeout the series.
I sure hope you're ready for Kobe to go ***** on Utah. - funknjunk, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1Touché
- elaina501, on 04/30/2008, -2/+2go jazz! theyll come back. just like they did last year in game 7. were a young team. i think its very possible that we beat tha lakers too but past that... no.
- DeQuinceysDiet, on 04/30/2008, -4/+4What this series has shown is that McGrady is a lousy superstar to build a franchise around. He's never been on a team that has won a single playoff series, amazingly enough. His performances in the 4th quarter of the three games Houston has lost has been HORRIBLE - not only can't he score, he can't even get a shot off. But hey, he's a bargain at $18 million/year
- edger2006, on 04/30/2008, -3/+3If the Rockets play team basketball, they way they did during the streak, they will destroy the Jazz. They came into the playoffs in a slump and without Rafer Alston. McGrady's shoulder bulk is less and less, Fridays game will be the toughest, yet.
- nikhil1986, on 04/30/2008, -1/+1Too bad buddy.. if you haven't heard, the number of tech articles have been on the steady decline, and even though I'm a techie, I'm fine with that. Open the windows, and let the fresh air in.
- rolii, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1Hmmm, a sense of panic in your comment, I sense?
- ProjectGSX, on 05/01/2008, -2/+2Congratulations Houston, youve postponed the inevitable.
- kuwan, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1Yeah, that's why Houston just "rolled right past the Jazz" last year when they had Yao Ming right? Face it, the Jazz are the better team, even if Houston were healthy.
