Hornets push defending champs to brink - NBA

nbcsports.msnbc.com — David West and the New Orleans Hornets sure looked happy to be at home. West had career playoff highs of 38 points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots, lifting New Orleans to a 101-79 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night and a 3-2 series lead.

  • sportscrzy33, on 05/14/2008, -0/+2I think it will go seven games. The Spurs have been in these pressure situations enough to be able to take the Hornets to a full seven games, but honestly once it gets to game seven, it could easily go either way.
