- canewediggit, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2overall, i think this is a good thing but it is fraught with peril. lebron and kobe's name have already been tossed out, and d wade said he'd be "crazy" to turn down a $40/50M/yr offer. i don't want to have to question whether or not the nba is the premier league in the world or have to try and build a euroleague fantasy cheat-sheet for games i can nver watch on tv at a convenient time.
- ironeus, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1I'm a regular viewer of Eurocup/FIBA every year even when coverage here in the states is near-impossible. During the summer you can even catch inter-league play b/w the NBA & Euroleague teams. Though the biggest basketball contracts are still here in the U.S. it's a win-win situation for competitive basketball and the players. Besides, it's fun to catch your favorite college player who may not have risen to the NBA (yet) playing under an Olympiacos jersey, or CSKA Moskva. You'll learn their height in meters too.
