- santaliqueur, on 07/26/2008, -0/+25So much for rich people being evil. Classy move, Sir Charles.
- CYR1X, on 07/26/2008, -1/+24People need to leave Charles Barkley alone, he gets a lot of hate for bad things he does and not enough praise for the good things he does so just leave him alone. It's just turrible.
- d0ug18, on 07/26/2008, -1/+24Good story. Glad to hear that Barkley has given away 3 mill towards education. More people need to follow this example.
- mrscotter, on 07/26/2008, -1/+14that is just turrible. redickalous. turrible.
- explnx, on 04/27/2009, -1/+12LEAVE CHARLES BARKLEY ALONE!!!
- Vikaas, on 07/26/2008, -0/+10Can he? Probably.
- mecharabbit, on 07/26/2008, -0/+8We'll have to rename him "The Round Mound of Generosity".
- xt0xicx, on 07/26/2008, -0/+7Well you failed.

- inactive, on 07/26/2008, -0/+5hahaha, I totally forgot about those commercials...
......thanks for reminding me *****. - Schmapdi, on 07/26/2008, -1/+5Charles has long been my favorite NBA player (not a sports person) because of his sense of humor, willingness to say what he's thinking, and that he just seems like a good guy.
All 3 qualities that set him apart from most pro athletes sadly. - dexedrine, on 07/26/2008, -0/+4wow... I didn't know kind-hearted people like that still existed. Kudos...
- vegx, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3That's a lot of neo-shekels.
- santaliqueur, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3You must be new here.
- credential101, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3Being a recent graduate from Temple, I am thrilled that something like this has happened. If you look at this persons Myspace page, you will notice that he's 28 and has a child. It's great that he's been blessed to find his way back into college, when the only thing holding him back was money. Now soon, he would be able to start a career and provide for his child in such a way that he did not have himself.
- phyx726, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2Heh, thats good. Thats good.
- DaHuuuuuudge, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2PDF? That deserves a facepalm itself.

- Zalyster, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2He can afford to escape a chaos dunk!
- evnglion, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2Thats awesome... as a restaurant employee I can honestly say that, while this may be a rare occurrence, things like this do happen. We have certain wealthy clientell, and there are some employee's here that get amazing gifts from them, from $10,000 when someone got married, to a new car for another lady... this stuff does happen with the right people.
- tango1110, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2Sir Charles is good
- nikeboy32, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2That is awesome, I love that Charles is a good guy. We need more athletes like him. The article even said he has given at least $3million to schools and education in his home state.
- evnglion, on 07/26/2008, -2/+4so instead of something rediculous like 17% why not just tip 20% like a normal person?
- aresef, on 07/26/2008, -1/+3Good man. Can he pay my tuition now?
- SciFctn, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2Now I like CB even more

- AzureRise, on 07/26/2008, -0/+1Get out of my head, Char-! Wait, wrong Charles.
- jordanlgta, on 07/26/2008, -0/+1That's the guy that has that agenda against deodorants that aren't gel-like!
- hughesj919, on 07/26/2008, -0/+1He'll win it all back at the casino tonight.
- ry4nsm1th, on 07/27/2008, -0/+1Since when do we call him "Sir Charles" ?
- dengzhi, on 07/26/2008, -1/+210% is easier and saves money =)
- blurrie, on 07/26/2008, -0/+1... his stock just rose in my book. that's really cool!
- smaze, on 07/31/2008, -0/+1A DJ friend of mine was playing his last song in the VIP room of a Scottsdale club a few years back when right at last call Charles strolled in for one drink. He complained that he only wanted to hear one Tupac song before he went home. My friend said that it was closing time but would probably make an exception for one song for Charles Barkley so he obliged and played the song. 3 minutes later when the song ended Chuck got up to leave, strolled over to the booth and handed him $100 saying thanks.
- inactive, on 07/26/2008, -0/+1What a kind gesture. I still say hes a jerk off though, he needs to stop talking ***** about the bay area.
- inactive, on 08/03/2008, -0/+1How sweet would it be to have the opportunities to do that?
Kudos to Barkley. Always been a fan - now I'm a passionate fan. - infamousdutch, on 07/27/2008, -0/+0If I'm not mistaken, Sir Charles was a nickname he had back in the 90s as a player...Chuck was always a great/"smart" player
- inactive, on 07/26/2008, -4/+4I need money for "college" too.
- samyoungguitar, on 07/26/2008, -3/+3This happened right after he threw the guy through the window for not bringing bread and water.
- bullox, on 07/26/2008, -3/+3Thanks for your story. How heartwarming. Here's a lollipop.
- inactive, on 07/27/2008, -0/+0 the busboy has been attending a college for 10 years... to become a teacher?!?! Is he trying to teach the art of getting stoned and taking all the wrong classes?
- bullox, on 07/26/2008, -0/+0You've got to be old to remember those. Yep, I'm old.
- dengzhi, on 07/26/2008, -2/+1if you can't afford it don't have kids!
